"This was my first purchase from Beach Camera. I purchased the Olympus E-510 with 2 lenses since they had the best price, free shipping and no tax (to CA). It was shipped the day after I ordered it and arrived as advertised exactly one week later.
They allow you to ship to your business, unlike a lot of other vendors. Since a signature is required, you don't have to worry about anyone not being at your home to receive the package."

"9/24/04 Ordered DVD-X on 9/24/04. Arrived in a timely manner but was unable to activate.
10/18/04I Notified DirtCheapSoftware (DCS) via their internal message board. No response.
I0/20/04 Notified them again. Received a response apologizing for delay and a promise to look into the matter.
10/29/04 Notifed them again. No response
11/11/04 Notified them again. No response."

"Two lamps were ordered on 9/14/2004. Three weeks after I ordered 2 lamps from this vendor,I sent them an email complaining about the delay. Within a day (10/5/2004) I received an email which spoke of a 'distributor delay' and a promise to look into it. On 10/11/2004 I received a tracking number on 10/14/2004 the package arrived as advertised. Total time from order to receipt --- one month."
