"I ordered two SATA 150 10000 RPM hard drives.
When I opened the box which came quickly, I had one drive which was not 10000 RPM so I asked for an RMA. It took a couple e-mails which is to be expected, many people really don't know what they are doing or looking at but the RMA was granted and the return process handled quickly. I recieved what I ordered and they work fine. I would order from them again. The price was unbeatable. Thank you Vlad for the help if you read this. Best Wishes"
"The latest scam is rebates. I purchased a Samsung ML-2010 laser printer that had a $50 dollar rebate from Samsung. Samsung claims someone else has used my UPC code and they won't give me, the actual buyer a rebate. I'm still working on them. MacMall must have employees taking down UPC info and submitting them with macmall invoices that they easily could produce.
To MacMalls credit a second rebate for free shipping from MacMall did come through. I thought I was was buying a product for $50 but so far it's $100. Someone is a thief but not sure who that is YET.
Best Wishes"
"I purchased a Barton 2500 using PriceWatch to find a good price. The Chip came with a CHUNK missing from the core. I was amazed someone had put a "warranty void if removed" sticker on it, sealed it in antistatic plastic and mailed it out. The chunk was so big it was obvious through the grey plastic. RMAed it and got very poor service as well as having to pay $6.50 more now to send it back insured and delivery confirmation. Over a month since my initial order and I finally get the replacement. The chip I got back was NOT a barton 2500 but is a Thoroughbred 2600 ALSO having a chipped core. I wish I'd read the reviews here of others with similar experiences first as I see I'm not alone. I will NEVER order anything from them or their related e-tailers and I hope no one else reading this has to go through this BS. I will be contacting my CC company and will not be wasting anymore money on return shipping, throwing good money after bad. These people should be investigated. I have a hunch they "pad" their ratings here and on pricewatch as well.
Edit:
8 days since they have had my second RMA'd CPU in their posession and no e-mail response or refund. Just so everone knows, found on the Better Business website many company's that all have the SAME mailing address and are all the same scam outfit.

Final entry (promise) Recieved my refund for full price and 8 of the 13 I spent on return shipping, no 15% restocking fee. This was after many somewhat snide comments in my MANY e-mails but at least I have a resolution (45 days later)and know which company's never to order from.
OK I'm breaking my promise sice I've read their response, sorry but...
Both CPU's were sent out to me chipped, I'm a pro and wouldn't ever bother installing a chipped chip lol. I sent both back in their unopened heat sealed grey poly bags.
Liars as well it seems."

"Purchased an Atlon XP 2800 333 "barton" cpu through pricewatch. Listed as a barton on pricewatch but changed the add today (removed barton designation but left 512k which still indicates Barton) AFTER I made the RMA (glad I saved the old add/webpage and can make a printout or e-mail it). When I open the package, found the cpu to be a thoroughbred core. Thoroughbred had 256 L2 cache Barton has 512. The part number for a barton is AXDA2800DKV4D and the part number for thoughbred is AXDA2800DKV3D. You can tell just by looking at the core that is too short, recognised it the second I saw it. Created an online RMA request (which for some reason I had to wait all weekend to do) and so far no response. I called by phone and the Woman though polite wouldn't help (why not?) me and directed me to the online RMA. Now I've read the horror stories here! Sorry I ordered from them already as it will be much time before I have my system running and they will probably try to charge me for something extra like return shipping or a restock fee. I'll give them the rest of the day before I call my very good local bank/CCard company first thing in the morning to get a full refund and then CompuBuzz will have the responability of sending me a shipping label to get the part back. I hope compubuzz reads this, they can take care of me the hard way or the easy but it won't be me in the end who's out the money or future business but I'm already out in the way of time and aggravation. Oh, I couldn't care less about unreasonable bs "policy" only state laws and my CCs policy. Should they do the right thing with me, I'll edit this post to show a more satisfied response.
Thank You Resellerratings, you do consumers a fine service and thanks for letting me vent.
Update 3/31 I pleasantly surprised to have recieved my refund in full."
