"I had never dealt with this company before my unfortunate purchase on October 26, 2014. I failed to investigate the company doing business as AmericaCameras. I was happy to see the Nikon D810 offered at a really good sales price so I jumped on it. I was suckered in by the sales techniques and I bought it hook line and sinker. I like so many others was told that the order would ship soon and that I would be getting a tracking number. All of that never happened. By November 17, 2004, I had not received the camera and I decided to cancel the order. I was told that the credit would be issued soon. Part of their rethoric is to say that everything will happen soon and soon never comes. Now, it is December 17, 2004, and I still have not received my credit. Thus, I have contacted my bank and filed a dispute on the transaction. My bank is giving this company 60 days to resolve this dispute. I called AmericaCameras and after many delays and being hung up on for several times someone finally spoke with me and he told me that AmericaCameras was not going to issue a credit and that I would have to resolve the matter with my bank.
This has been a lesson for me and hopefully a lesson for others. Do the research on companys and confirm that they are in good standing. I still have not received the credit."
