What a scam. Stay away.
"I signed up for an eharmony membership thinking I had a three day period in which to try out the app and could request a refund if I wasn't satisfied. I found the user base in my area incredibly small, and as this is by far the most expensive app I have come across, I certainly did not see the value for my money. When I requested a refund within the three day window, I found out that the refund policy only applies if you live in certain states. If you don't then you are not eligible. What a criminal policy. They have stolen my money,
. They've justified their decision with this response to me. "While our members may request removal of their accounts at any time, if there is an outstanding balance owed, eharmony is under no obligation to grant the request. As a result, we are unable to process a refund or release any future payments of your subscription." What utter nonsense. I've paid the first month's payment, nothing is overdue. And there is no way to get a refund once those remaining payments have been made. I have canceled my subscription, so the only thing keeping it active is that eHarmony literally traps you in it. What a disgusting company. Beware. Stay far away. They will take your money and run."
