"Beware of their own warranty. Before I purchased a Clarion CMD5 from them, I called to confirm there is a warranty since it was an internet purchase. They stated they honor the warranty and not Clarion. This unit was rusted up by the back harness. It was mounted inside the center console on my boat and the back was protected. It took a week for them to even acknowledge the receipt of my return after several e-mails and phone messages. Then they stated they send returns back to Clarion and would be back with me. I received an e-mail a couple of days later stating it was not repairable and wanted to charge me for shipping to Clarion and returning the unit to me. Out $214.00. Buyer beware.
This was my original review when purchased:
They had the best price including shipping. I wanted info about the warranty, so I called. Someone actually answered the phone with not hold time or endless prompts. Item was shipped the same day."
