AVOID AVOID!!
"Avoid at all costs. They are the worst of the worst. I have bought brake pads from them; the website makes you choose your vehicle with the year, engine, and everything. I clicked on the right product and bought it (it said it would fit both engines). They e-mailed me, asking what my engine was and if it would fit with the product they sent me. The only option I had in the email was a 2.0 engine, but when clicking on the product on their website, you get a checkmark that says it should fit with the vehicle you selected. I replied that my engine was a 3.3L. No one replied back to me for a good three days. I got tired of waiting and clicked on the only option showing on the email (the 2.0L option). I thought it was a mistake on their part. On any other performance car part dealer's website, it says it should fit both engines (and it also says that on their own website). I have received a part that fits on a completely different vehicle (a Kia Sorrento), an SUV. It's impossible that it would fit either on the 2.0 engine or the 3.3 engine, but for the front, I got a totally different brake set that I thought would fit but didn't. I drive a Kia Stinger GT 3.3L twin turbo, not an SUV. Two very different cars! Since then, I've told them it wouldn't fit, and they've asked me to take pictures to prove that it wouldn't fit. As requested, I sent them pictures of the pads just sitting on the rotor (I didn't install them), showing that they both wouldn't fit. They then asked me to picture the front and rear pads, so I did that. They then accused me of having done some "marking on the pads." Just some black spot that was already there. The funny thing is that I only tried one out of the eight brake pads, and he said that both the front and rear pad had that "marking" on it. I replied, saying it didn't make any sense. They then said they would send return instructions. They had been waiting for a week and decided to just send it to the return address on the same box that ''they'' used. I was waiting, and I got tired of waiting. Just to note that as of today, I still have not received the "return instructions." It has been since May 5 that I first said it didn't fit. I'm not sure how long they want customers to wait for. I'm still waiting on their "return instructions." I paid and shipped the product using the return address on the box; it turns out it was the EBC Brakes warehouse located in the US. I thought it was supposed to be a Canadian website. Once the parcel was received, I emailed them, asking if I would finally get my refund now that they had received the package! It turns out they are not the sender. What kind of "business" is that, and why do they say on the website that it is supposed to be shipped within Canada? Clearly, they screwed up sending a product that wouldn't fit, and now they ask me to tell EBC Brakes to return the product to me and that I need to ship it back to them..Doesnt make any sens does it why are they not the one dealing with that?? I still didn't get any return instructions; it's been a since May 5 already, and I can't drive like I want because it will damage my rotor, so by the time I get my money back I will need new rotors!! Thanks to them for making me drive with an unsafe vehicule!!! They want me to spend more money for shipping and wait longer; they are the ones who screw up. They also said that when I finally get a refund, if it ever happens, they will make me pay an extra 29.99 for the first time they shipped, and I will also have to pay to return the product to them. I don't get it. They want me to pay three times for shipping because THEY screwed up. It says on other auto parts that both the 2.0L and 3.3L have the same brake pad, and they shipped one that was made for a Sorrento! I will just directly deal with EBC Brakes from now on and tell them the whole story with screenshots and everything. Hopefully, they won't sell EBC brakes from now on! This company is almost committing fraud at this point! Never in my life did I get such bad service. Driving with worn brakes is a hazard! I can't go out more now because of them, and I'm not sure how much longer until I get my refund. This doesn't make any sense. I'm not sure how many people got scammed by them, but I am telling you this is a nightmare right now, and I won't let that go! I am part of the Canadian Forces and will tell everyone everywhere I go to never buy anything from this ''business." Ebay, Amazon, or any other auto part dealer would be much better."
