"Avoid US1Camera/US1Photo! Don't believe there advertised shipping times. More than two weeks have passed since I ordered two items and I have yet to receive them or even get a response from their service department, yet they had no problems charging my credit card the $564. A few more days and I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company. All this on top of their hard sell tactics not placing my order until I endured their sales pitch and repeated refusal to add unwanted items to my order. It amazes me that any company would treat their customers this way and rely on hard sales tactics instead of reliable customer service. This is my 1st and LAST order from them.
UPDATE 2-24-2010 I contacted US1Photo and spoke with Kevin regarding my purchase. He was helpful explaining the original shipment was returned to them damaged in shipping. He said they sent an email on the 11th explaining the situation and that they had only the silver camera body in stock. I didn't receive any email and double checked my email with the date he gave me. He offered the silver camera body to me at the same price stating it was normally $30 more. I refused and then he also offered an additional battery to make things right and again I refused because I don't want the silver camera body. I do a lot of interior architectural photography and find that a silver camera body is reflected too easily in polished surfaces. The bottom line is that they took another opportunity to try and hard sell me what I didn't want yet did eventually agree to refund my purchase. I personally don't buy the "damaged in shipping" angle since they say the email was sent on the 11th yet my account was charged on the 14th. I'm just grateful to have to opportunity to get out of any transaction with this terrible company. I have yet to receive credit so will update when that happens. At that time I may adjust my ratings for refunds and exchanges."
