"The power supply in my child's computer died, so I ordered a power supply from turboled because of the great prices. Unknown to me, my wife ordered the same power supply from turboled making two exact orders for the same exact product. I sent an email to ****@**** right away explaining the situation, and asked that the duplicate order be canceled. Turboled canceled the dup order without a problem, and I promtly received one power supply from the original order. However, I still have not received a credit to my credit card for the dup order. I have been put off for four weeks now, and given lame, empty excuses why my account has not been credited. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! I would not order from this company again, and would advise ALL to make sure what you order is what you want because this firm will steal your money."

"I just ordered two bare bones systems from ActOnline Store and I've had some trouble already - and I haven't even received my order yet! The day I ordered, I received a confirmation, OK, good so far. The next day, I received an email stating that there was a problem with my address from my credit card issuer. I called my bank multiple times, and they assured me that my address in their system was correct. After calling so-called "tech support" at ACT (and hung up on three times by a RUDE support person), I finally got an email stating that they verified my address and my order is being processed. Now, after reading all these horror stories, I'm REALLY upset! I asked tech support when my order was going to be shipped, and I was told to go online and read their shipping FAQs. I have a sick feeling in my stomach, more is sure to go wrong... ORDER: * ECS K7S5A Pro Socket A SDR/DDR Retail Box * AMD Duron™ 1.3GHz Socket A OEM * Socket A Cooling Fan w/Heatsink * 32AW SRS Sound * 10/100Base T Network Card * ATX Deluxe MidTower 300W P.S. ------------------------ UPDATE: I received an email today that my order was shipped. I rec'd a tracking number, but at the moment, I can't pull it up at the UPS webpage. UPS probably does not pickup packages until the evening, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. ----------------------------------- UPDATE: The UPS tracking number is good, the package should be at my door on 03.20.03. Will post an update when it's out of the box. ----------------------------------- UPDATE: I received the shipment yesterday, and I must say that I am VERY SATISFIED, believe it or not! My order of two bare bones systems was meticulously packed, and included all original boxes. I installed my own memory, hard drive, floppy, video card, and CD-ROM on both machines, installed WinME, and they booted up and ran perfectly! I am AMAZED, because all these negitive postings were worrying me. I am absolutly satisfited with the products I received; and I am especially satisfied with the price, although I still feel that customer service needs much improvement! I will run the machines for a week, and make another update. --------------------- UPDATE: I've been running both machines for about a week now, and still couldn't be happier. No complaints at all! --------------------- LAST UPDATE: It's been over a month now, and both machines are running PERFECTLY. I am VERY HAPPY. Meanwhile, I located the Ohio BBB website.
