"I've never written a review before, but the person who helped me at pcalchemy was so nice and helpful that I made an account to share the good expirence.
I only wish I had known about them sooner... I was having problems with my bank card in that when I ordered from online vendors, they were saying that my shipping / billing addresses were different. This was causing delay after delay through no fault of the online vendor (newegg).
When I found an item I wanted, and that pcalchemy.com had it in stock, I went to resellerratings.com to see they had an awesome rating. I then called pcalchemy to place my order. I didn't want to do another order online because it would be hours before I found out that my addresses didn't match "blah blah."
A nice guy picked up the phone and told me that they only do orders from their website, so I told him "no, thanks, I'll try someone else."
A minute later, the person calls me back, asking what my dilemma was. After I told him of the problems and delays because of the situation w/ my bank card, he offered to stay on the line and watch my transaction go through to make sure it didn't get held up as all other orders from all other places had. A few minutes later, he was able to confirm that my item had gone through and told me that it would go out immediately, and to expect it the next day (as I had chosen next-day delivery).
I was impressed that they were willing to go the extra mile. When you put your card # in and hit "send", you sometimes don't know what you're going to get in return for your business. It's good to support online vendors of reputation who *want* your business, not just your money."
