Stands behind their advice and products
"Spent over $10,000 on plumbing and lighting with Build for a complete renovation of a house (taken down to the studs). I had to order all of the plumbing fixtures early in the process so the contractor could have the necessary rough in boxes and materials. This early ordering was on the advice of Build as there was a risk the fixtures that I needed and would go with the rough in boxes may be discontinued or out of stock later. 9 months later the fixtures were actually installed. One of the tub spouts was 3/4" and should have been 1/2" to match the mixer purchased at the same time. This tub spout was purchased in reliance on the advice of Build. Build agreed to make an exception to its return policy even though this was technically outside of their timeline for returns."

"Absolutely the worst online company I have ever dealt with. I ordered parts for my airsoft gun from them. It turned out that the parts they sold me were not compatible. So I contacted them to return the items for a credit so I could order the correct items from them. There customer service is nonexistent and they were rude and unhelpful. It took over 6 weeks to get the items returned and the correct items sent."

"I ordered a Dewalt pressure washer from homedepot.com on July 1, 2010. This order did not arrive until July 30, 2010. To make a long story short, Home Depot's shipping was a disaster. They turned it over to a shipper who then turned it over to a local delivery company and nobody knew where the item was. Homedepot.com's service is even worse than the retail store."

"Won an auction from Best Buy Auctions/Dealtree. They sent me a notice that I had won and sent a notice that the item had shipped. I never received the item. The said to wait 14 days and submit a claim. I submitted the claim and they said that the item had shipped. I asked for a tracking number. They never sent a tracking number or any other way to verify delivery. Stay away from these people, they are liars and crooks."
