"I ordered two items on 12/10/02. My credit card was billed immediately for both. The web site noted only that the order was "pending". On 12/18/02 I sent an email asking for the status of my order. The response was a terse email indicating my order had shipped in two packages and should arrive in 5 business days. There was no indication of what day the order shipped. In other words, this left me with the question of, "5 business days from when?" On 12/26/02, one item was actually shipped and arrived a few days later. Around 1/22/03 I sent another email (the only apparent way of contacting them) asking about the second item. I got back an email on 1/24/03 that said only, "charger shipped". No indication of when it had shipped. A second terse email received on the same day included the phrase, "backorder released". Several days later, a package did arrive but it contained a duplicate of the first item I received--not the second item I had ordered. I sent another email to them in early February complaining about this, and they responded 2/6/03 with a note indicating that my second item had shipped and that I was free to keep the duplicate item they had sent me. The second item did finally arrive--2 months and much hassle later."
