"This is my 5th purchase from PricePlunge.com since I first ran across their site about seven months ago. Prior to the purchase of this GPS unit, The highest priced item from them was UNDER $12. Previous experience with several "deal of the day" sellers all resulted in a great deal the first order, so-so the second order, & by the time the third order arrived the merchandise quality had dropped so low I had to return it or get stuck with it. This was not the case with PricePlunge.com. The Magellan GPS unit was amazingly inexpensive, especially considering I was able to get an additional 10% discount from a coupon they had sent me with a previous order. Not only was the price amazing, but it was shipped the same day it was ordered, as usual, only hours after I pushed the submit order button, and arrived a couple of days later. Great prices & great service? Apparently it IS still possible! Even their timing worked out perfectly. I had just shipped my old unit to my daughter for use for her vacation. I hadn't planned on a replacement yet, but it would have been foolish to have passed on such a great deal."

"A recent disability requires me to do most of my shopping online. This was only the 2nd time I had a HORRIBLE experience in over 100 orders placed online over the last two years. I placed my order on 6/7/10 for an item shown as being in stock, was notified the next day it had been shipped and was issued a Fedex tracking number the next day, and my credit card was charged. Today, two days after receiving the tracking number, I checked the status but Fedex didn't have the number in their system, so I contacted Vitadigest's customer service department by phone. I was informed that, although the item is still shown as being in stock today, that it's actually on back order for "about two weeks". I asked for an explanation as to why I hadn't been notified, why I had been issued a tracking number, and why my credit card was charged for an out of stock item. The weak apology didn't satisfy me so I asked to speak to a supervisor, only to be told no one was there. I canceled the order, demanded that my charge be credited, and immediately notified my bank to refuse the charge."

"My experience with this seller shows that the lowest price does not necessarily mean the best deal. Price is meaningless if you can't get your merchandise without a hassle. Placed order online on Wed., 4/8/09, for Panasonic DRE-A38VK dvd recorder, listed as being in stock. Order summary stated I would soon receive an email confirmation. About an hour after order was submitted, the item was now listed as being out of stock. After I didn't receive confirmation by mid-morning the following day I emailed customer service for status of order. I did receive a reply a couple of hours later stating I would receive confirmation when the order was shipped, but no indication of when that might be, or even if my item was in stock. Later that afternoon I received another email stating my order might be delayed 5 or more days due to their verification policy unless I got my credit card company to list my shipping address in addition to my mailing address. No problem. I took care of that immediately and called the rep with the info. She said she'd take care of it immediately, but still couldn't tell me whether my ordered item was in stock. All she could tell me was that, if the item was no longer available, it would be replaced with the newer version at the same price. When I still hadn't received order status info by the following Mon., 4/13/09, I called again and was on hold listening to the phone ring for 18 minutes, the ringing only occasionally broken by a recorded message saying how important my business was. By the time the rep answered I had a very bad feeling about the whole ordeal and canceled my order, still unable to find out if the item was available. The only positive thing I can say about the whole experience is that both of the young ladies I did speak to were very pleasant, but that is not enough to get me back. Maybe I've just been lucky so far, but I've ordered numerous electronic items from various online sellers, and this was my only negative experience to date."
