"My window A/C arrived with damage. There was a delay because my first email did not go through (I had attached too many pictures) , and then we left on a four week road trip without my having noticed this problem. When I returned I sent a second email with only three pictures and it did go through, but there was no response. After a couple of weeks I emailed asking for a response and got none. After another week or so I retrieved an email from Compact Appliance saying that they would take no action because 30 days had elapsed since delivery. I called Amazon and registered a complaint. A couple of days later C A sent me the same message they had initially sent, asking for the same information I had already sent. I sent it. C A folded and I received a refund. Then I belatedly checked the internet and found this website. Lesson learned."
