SCAMMERS! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY!
"This was by far the worst purchasing experience in my life! Adorama are clearly fraudsters and seem to be repeating the same process on anyone who puts their trust in them. They have taken full payment from me and clearly have no intention of supplying me with the purchased item. I have made at least 15 attempts to get a refund for the unsent item and they have no intention of doing that either. Since the start of this experience I have found out that they have a Trust Pilot rating of 1.9 out of 5 stars left by 1127 different people. And a 1 star rating on resellerratings.com from over 17,931 reviews, with most reviewers complaining of being scammed by Adorama and terrible customer service. On the 19/02/23 I placed an order for the Varjo Aero virtual reality headset for $2108.47 from Adorama including $118.47 for expedited UPS international shipping. On the 21/02/23 the order was marked as shipped. I immediately called Adorama to ask about expected time for delivery and was advised the item had already left their facility on a long distance truck to the UPS office. Apparently for this reason it was not scanned by UPS. I then called UPS multiple times over the next 4 days and was assured by UPS that they had not received the package from the seller, and that not a single scan had been made by UPS in nearly 4 days which in their words was “impossible”. I then made multiple calls to Adorama and they have changed their story multiple times. They initially kept repeating the same story that the package was with UPS, then they told me the item had been delivered to my address. They then changed their minds again and said they will issue me a refund by end of day, then the next day they said I have to wait 2 business days for a refund. Now they are saying I have to wait for UPS to scan the package. They know that UPS will never scan the package as Adorama have not handed the package over to UPS. I have already reported them to the Federal Trade Commission and to Varjo Technologies, and I am now in the process of reporting them to their local consumer protection agency and the attorney general as I can see they are making a habit of committing fraud and stealing from innocent people. I have handed over copies of all communication between Adorama and myself to my lawyers and they are making preparation to hold all parties involved accountable for this blatant act of repetitive fraud. If you search Adorama and fraud in Google you will be shocked to see how many people are complaining of similar experience. My advise is do not buy anything from Adorama or you will immediately regret it."
