"I ordered 10 HP data cartridges, Databazaar.com sent me 10 refurbished Maxell data cartridges (no factory seal or packaging, dings and scratches on the plastic shells, etc.). I have now been trying to get an RMA issued for almost 4 weeks. After several emails and calls and I am still being 'promised' a RMA. This is the second time this place sent me a refurbished product instead of new. I should have learned my lesson the first time. Do not buy from this merchant."
"I ordered Samsung memory for my laptop and received a generic brand. Upon emailing MemorySuppliers.com they finally responded after 4 days and apologized for the mix up and said they no longer had Samsung memory and offered to refund me $5 or send me another brand. BUT, all the while their web site continued to state that they had Samsung memory "in stock" and ready to ship! I finally returned the memory, they did not live up to their promise of reimbursing me for the return shipping cost, but at least I received a full refund. (The funny thing is that the refund email STATED that the Samsung memory was NO LONGER AVAILABLE, but a quick check of there web site still stated that it was "in stock" and ready to ship!)
After my experience I do not believe any of these other "positive" reviews and will never recommend or buy anything from them again. They charge for a name brand part, substitute a genenric, then count on the buyer not wanting to deal with any of the hassels of returning the "substitute" item."

"I needed a 256MB SODIMM for my Compaq notebook. After looking on Pricewatch.com CSnap showed a compatible module for a very good price. Since I have had some difficulty finding a compatible module I decided to call CSnap too and comfirm compatibility. A quick phone call to a sales rep. and he confirmed compatibility for my notebook. So I ordered it. Well, upon getting the module it was an Apacer part, as opposed to the Kingmax part they said on Pricewatch and it of course was incompatible! (Apacer's own web site does not even list my noteboook for there memory modules.)
So, I called CSnap.com to return the memory and was told I needed to talk to tech. support first. Upon talking to tech. support and asking to return the memory, they said the memory was most likely defective. Then I told them that the part was Apacer and that the manufacturer did not even list it as compatible. Then tech support said, "Oh!, ummm, let me transfer you to the RMA department". Upon talking to the RMA dept. I was given a RMA number and address to return the memory to. I asked if I would get FULL credit including shipping and was put on hold as he checked, He then came back and said "Yes, a full refund would be given including shipping since the part was supposed to be compatible, but wasn't." I returned the memory and waited for my refund. Ten days later and no refund, so I called and told them when they received the package and when I should get a refund, the customer service rep. said he would put the credit through right away. One week later, still no refund, called again, same story. Finally one week later and the refund appears on my credit card, BUT no refund of the shipping charge. Two emails (BTW their customer service email box is usually full and bounces your email back) and a phone call later and the answer was "Sorry, but our policy is not to refund shipping." even though I was told on multiple occasions they WOULD refund the FULL amount.
So I am very unhappy with CSnap.com and would not recommend them to anyone."

"I am VERY disappointed, considering the other good comments about this company! I ordered a D-link 900AP+ on 9/14/02 that was in stock. On 9/16 they call me to say it is back-ordered until 9/23 and if this was OK, I said yes I would wait a week. I then checked the site and called them on 9/20 and find out the date is really 9/30 and that they had ALREADY charged my credit card for the shipment. I immediately cancelled the order and insisted on an immediate refund for items I NEVER received. Any place that charges for the order BEFORE it ships, is NOT one I want to deal with!
The saga continues 9/28/02, 4 phone calls and 2 unanswered emails later and I at least have the refund for the item amount but I am still short the refund for shipping on an order that was back-ordered, never shipped! Unbelievablely bad!"
