We're delighted
"Like many time share owners, we have been deluged with offers from companies promising to get us out of our time share contract. We have loved using our week almost every year, and have been to some wonderful resorts in this country and Europe, but are getting to the place where we knew we would not be able to travel as much in the future, and our children didn't want the unit.
We went to presentations; we listened to phone-pitches; and we were astonished at the high prices some of these companies charge. A few years ago, we paid Sell My Timeshare Now some money to advertise our property--until it sold! Periodically-- I would say, maybe an average of 5-6 per year--we would get emails from SMTN saying they had a "nibble" from an interested party, but then that party would drop out.
This year, just as we were seriously considering paying $7,000 to another company to get us out of our contract, we got another "nibble" through SMTN. This one turned out to be very interested! We were put in touch with Timeshare Closing Services, which handled all of the paperwork in a timely and professional manner. They kept us informed at each step of the process as to what was happening, and what would happen next. When the news came that our unit had closed, we were delighted!
We are very grateful we went with SMTN. Even though it took a few years, it saved us thousands of dollars, and the closing process was very straightforward and friction-free."
