"It takes a LOT for me to write a review, especially a negative one, as I am more about praising those that do well. But I hope to save someone the experience I have had with Bare Necessities. Simply stated: HORRIFIC & HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY AROUND. Where to start...the return shipping service, the customer service reps, or the Bra fit experts which are also no experts at all. My story: I asked two different online bra fitting experts for help in getting the right size before placing an order to take advantage of a sale, what I got was two experts giving me a different size using the same exact measurements. I tried the one that made most sense and it turned out to be 2 sizes too big in the cup at least. BUT WAIT it is going to cost you $6.95 to ship just the one bra back using their prepaid provided label, and it will take over 15 days for them to receive it, and then up to 10 days to receive your refund... yet it only costs $2.09 in my case using USPS First Class Mail. Have you weighed a bra lately? About .5 ounces or less and yet they charge as if it was a basketball at $6.95. DON'T TRUST their online tracking system as it shows inaccurate information regarding your order. For example: it states my return has been processed on 2/11 and I received an email confirmation stating they received my return and issued a refund, yet I have not received any refund...and am still waiting 3 days later. I shipped the item back 2/4 and what should take 2 days from MA to NJ per USPS Customer Service is now going on 10 days and still "in transit" as their customer service reps indicate. So which is it? In transit or refunded...as I am not seeing the money at all. I honestly do not think the left hand knows what the right hand is doing. If you want less hassles, ship your return back using your OWN label...it will save you TIME and MONEY. $6.95 to return 1 bra is pathetic. IN FACT save yourself the hassles, frustration, and nightmare and DON'T SHOP HERE AT ALL. Check eBay as they have better pricing without a sale.
Lastly, I have had over 4 different customer service people assist me with this simple purchase of a bra that would fit, per the experts, and only ONE showed any care in helping me and doing right by the customer, however, you rarely get the same person when you contact them for an update or status, so you have others butting in and giving you even more caos. Why you cannot work with the one customer service rep you've been working with and has been helpful is beyond me. Adding in the others WILL make your life miserable, complicated, and frustrated. I will never shop with this store again no matter how good of a sale they may have. My first and only experience with this company is an F. They do not even deserve a 2nd chance because of all the ugliness in getting a refund for 1 bra purchased in the wrong size by a "non" exert bra fitter. I am now working with Paypal to get my money back on this purchase. Again, as it is worth stating twice: SAVE yourself the hassles, frustration, and nightmares and DON'T SHOP HERE AT ALL."
"Ditto to a review dated 2012 (which I included here as I got the same treatment)...it is now 2014 and STILL THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SOFTWARE to cancel an order placed at any point...so once you hit submit "it is in processing mode for shipping". Yet they are an online shopping/catalogue company. Here's an option: How about pick up the dang phone and call your warehouse and have them pull the order and say CANCEL IT. Gee that would require effort. It is way to easy for them to not care about their customers and make their customers wait ...and wait a little longer... for the item(s) to ship...and then wait some more for them to actually arrive and then you can pay the ridiculous return shipping charges to send it back. What a joke. How about spend less in shipping me 3-4 catalogues each week of the same merchandise, and put it towards a software update that allows you to cancel orders before shipping, even before a tracking number has been issued. And they accept paypal, but they do not support paypal, so you have to wait for a check to be sent to you for your returns. Well you can just expect A BIG OLE "REJECTION" WILL BE WRITTEN ON MY PACKAGE WHEN THE MAILMAN DELIVERS IT and HE CAN TAKE IT RIGHT BACK WITH HIM.
