This is a very shady company, be very careful
"I had a very bad experience with Cell2get. I got ripped off for $60 on restocking fee. All I wanted was a brand new phone, Samsung Galaxy S8. They sent me a used/refurbished phone and I didn't notice until 5 minutes after I activated it when I noticed blemishes. I immediately reboxed to return it, barely touched with all items included, nothing missing.
When I got my refund processed, I only got a partial refund $247.54. I paid $306.31 for it. They stated it was 15% for a restocking fee plus $13.00 shipping. Ridiculous. They're policy does state if you activate the phone, you would be charged a 15% fee, but I only activated the device because I thought it was brand new. On the website, I cannot find the words used or refurbished. Most websites will clearly notate that distinction. They don’t.
After speaking multiple times with different people from their ***-***-**** number (which customer service was horrible), they just told me different things, threw me around. One guy told me they charged the fee because if I activate the device they can’t resell it, so I would have to contact Boost Mobile to have them totally remove any association of the phone from my account to get a full refund. So I called boost and did that. Called Cell2get back, and the guy I spoke to reiterated that I got a fee because I activated it and that I will be getting no refund. Also one of them stated that they don't sell brand new phones at all on the website.
So basically, I got nothing and they made $60 off of me. I understand that theirs is a policy about the activation, but from a human standpoint they could’ve of made the exception and helped me. They didn’t care. You active you pay, Goodbye.
I’ll never deal with them again. I’ve paid hundreds of dollars for phones up front since I have a no contract cell provider, and I would’ve bought many phones from them and even referred people had they treated me right. Now it’s the opposite. I’ll never attempt business with them again and also make sure to put the word out to ***Stay Away From Cell2Get. They are a very Shady “Business” ***"
