"We ordered a pair of cleats for my son. He received them and tried them for one hour at an indoor training facility. The cleats were painful and the wrong size so we returned them. The refund was denied because the refund department decided they were dirty and that they could not be restocked. I called customer service, waited 45 minutes for help and have been told that there is no disputing the decision of the return department. The man on the phone offered no help, would not send me to his manager and said there is no phone number to contact the return department. I do not understand this type of service. How is an athlete expected to buy shoes online and not be given the freedom to try the shoes. I could understand if the shoes were damaged but that is not the case. It was the wrong size. Every other online retailer take returns and at the very least will communicate and address the needs of a customer. This is a shady business model and I am disappointed in the way I have been treated. I am most disappointed that we gave this company additional business by ordering a replacement shoe expecting to be treated fairly and given a refund. I understand now why there are so many negative reviews about Eastbay. I will definitely be adding mine to the list. This will be the last time my family makes any purchases through this business."
