"I filed and was given an EIN number but then I was told I already had one. Yet the new and improved one was the same as the one issued last week. Of course it makes me nervous to say my SSI number over the phone. I wonder if this is a scam. But I think it is OK. Everyone was polite and professional. That assuaged my fears. I would not have wanted to go into an office for this."
