Shell/scam company - STAY AWAY
"This is the SAME company as blinds.com but with a really bad satisfaction guarantee. It's a corporate scam, DO NOT order from them. I had my suspicions (both are in Houston) but had it confirmed afterwards when a customer service rep screwed up and sent me an email from his blinds.com email address. Full Story: Needed "blackout" skylight shades to reduce the heat buildup during the heat waves we've started to have. These are more complicated than regular blinds since they are installed on the ceiling at an angle. Wanted to get a solar panel, motor and remote to easily open & close since it's up very high. Had to work with a rep to get the right order in and I asked multiple times about not paying for 3 remotes and he told me that I wasn't. They do not send an itemized invoice so I'm still not sure what I paid for but I got three remotes. Our ceiling is white so I ordered white shades - every component is a different white shade: head/bottom unit, end caps for those units, shade itself, side rails, and even the worthless blind strip on the side rail which I guess was supposed to match the shade color - it looks pretty awful. Worse than both these things is that the measurement was 1.5" too narrow on each skylight - the head & bottom units didn't fit flush against the sides which meant the side rails (to prevent the shades from falling down from the ceiling when not closed) did not reach out to the shades themselves. I was willing to retro fit a solution and just needed side rails that weren't cut on one side (BTW, it was cut by hand with a jagged edge!). Emailed, called, emailed, sent pictures, this has been going on for over 4 weeks now with no resolution. They keep saying that they have to talk to the manufacturer which takes 2+ business days each time. Just awful customer service. You're better off going with blinds.com, the price is pretty similar but the guarantee is much better. Can't say anything good about blinds.com either - was trying to purchase from them and was told the skylights shade bottom rails couldn't be installed on an angle. It can, they lied about that too. Worse, the "designer" just cut off communication when I asked detailed questions about why not. Finally, if you are still planning to buy from them, don't be fooled by the "sale", everything is always on sale, the websites are setup to always have a sale ending in 48-72 hours, the sales magically get extended... another part of the company's scam."
