"I am having the same problems with this online seller as many others have described. I placed an order on Oct. 1, 2007 for a pair of shoes. I suspected that I might be in trouble when the confirmation e-mail stated that it could take up to 30 days to receive my order, but I decided to be patient and wait and see.
On Oct 18., I sent an e-mail to Customer Service inquiring about the status of my order. The return e-mail stated that my order had been cancelled and that it could take up to 30 days to post the credit to my card. When I sent an e-mail asking why it should take 30 days to post the refund when they had been able to charge my credit card on the day of the order, I received a very gruff reply from a Customer Service representative simply repeating the contents of the previous e-mail.
It is now Nov. 19 and my credit card has not been credited. So much for the posting of refunds within 30 days. If I do not receive a satisfactory response from myshoestore.com within 48 hours, I will be contacting my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau.
This online store should not be allowed to remain in business. They suck you in with offers of low prices, but they do not have shoes in stock. They charge your credit card on the day of the purchase, but are very slow to respond to refund requests after they cancel the order."
