Great experience! Helpful customer service, good 1st time shopper coupon and free shipping on Yeti Cooler!
"I came online to check Sportsmans Guide's reviews after I'd already made a purchase since the deal seemed it might be too good to be true! That concern grew when I saw the horrible rating/reviews but since I'd already ordered (during non business hours) there wasn't much I could do at that point, so I hoped for the best. Long story short.... I had an excellent experience! I purchased a Yeti cooler (in a size/color that was hard to find, and when I did, it was priced almost $100 more than here!) and was able to use a $50 off for first time shoppers coupon and in addition got free shipping! In fact, in anticipation of the hurricane I upgraded the free shipping to 2nd day air for only $15 more. Since I ordered it late on a Sunday night (when they were closed) and needed it before I could leave town, I called customer service first thing the next morning to make sure I would get it 2 air day as requested. The rep I spoke with put me on hold so he could contact the dept responsible for shipping, when he came back to the phone he assured me it would go out that same day. When I called again the following day to check the status (again skeptical based on the bad reviews) I was told the 1st rep had made several notes on the acct/contacted the vendor and yes, it would go out as expected. Shortly after I received a text w/ a tracking number and I was able to track it to my door. It arrived on time, as promised! Excellent experience all around!"
