"This company operates under 2 names, Lord John's Footwear and My Shoe Store/myshoestore.com. My personal experience with and review review of this company can be found under the other alias. Anyone and everyone should read the reviews for this company under both names. If you are already a "victim" of this company, you should contact the BBB of NH who has received over 250 complaints about them. I am hoping that, with continued complaints on record, some arm of the law will actually do something about this company. Small world? maybe. Terrible company? more than likely. Coincidence? I don't think so.
STAY AWAY! Their prices and availability seem too good to be true because they are! It is my opinion that this store is posting items for sale that they do not have in stock nor do they have any means of obtaining. This place is a joke."

"HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!!! I CAN'T SAY THE WORD 'HORRIBLE' ENOUGH TO DESCRIBE THIS DESPICABLE COMPANY! NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER ORDER FROM THEM. THIS IS A SCAM! I ORDERED SHOES FOR MY BOYFRIEND ON NOVEMBER 26TH AND WAITED, AND WAITED AND WAITED. FINALLY, I CALLED AND THEY SAID NOT TO WORRY, THE SHOES WOULD MOST LIKELY ARRIVE NEXT WEEK AND "DEFINATELY BY CHRISTMAS". NO SHOES. I CALLED TODAY (12/17/07) AND THEY ASKED ME TO HOLD WHILE THEY "LOOKED INTO IT" THE GIRL CAME BACK AND SAID THAT SHE WAS ON THE OTHER LINE WITH TSUBO, THE BRAND OF SHOE I ORDERED, AND FOR ME TO CONTINUE TO HOLD. SHE CAME BACK AND SAID THAT TSUBO SUGGESTED I CANCEL THE ORDER BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT ARRIVE BY CHRISTMAS. I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THIS WAS TSUBO'S FAULT BASED ON THE OTHER REVIEWS. I REALLY DON'T THINK THAT SHE WAS ON THE LINE WITH THEM AT ALL. I DID CANCEL MY ORDER (OBVIOUSLY) AND TOLD THE GIRL THAT I NEEDED MY $ BACK FOR CHRISTMAS. SHE TOLD ME THAT THEY COULDN'T REFUND MY $ FOR 30 DAYS (SAME OLD STORY) I SAID THAT THIS WASN'T ACCEPTABLE AND SHE SAID THAT THIS WAS THE POLICY OF THE REFUNDS DEPT. I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH THAT DEPARTMENT AND SHE SAID THAT IT ISN'T POLICY FOR THAT DEPARTMENT TO SPEAK WITH CUSTOMERS...SOUND A LITTLE FISHY? SOUND A LOT FISHY? I THINK SO. I ASKED HER IF IT WAS POLICY FOR THEM TO POST SHOES FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE AND SHE SAID "I AM NOT GOING TO ANSWER A SARCASTIC QUESTION" I ALSO ASKED HER WHY THEY TOLD ME WHEN I CALLED PREVIOUSLY, THAT THE SHOES WOULD ARRIVE AND NOT TO WORRY. SHE HAD NO ANSWER. I THEN ASKED HER IF SHE WAS AWARE OF ALL OF THE BAD REVIEWS HER COMPANY HAD RECEIVED ONLINE (WHICH I DISCOVERED AFTER MY ORDER) TO WHICH SHE ANSWERED "I'M NOT CONCERNED WITH THAT" ?!?!?!?! YEAH, OBVIOUSLY, NOBODY AT THIS COMPANY IS "CONCERNED WITH THAT". I WILL BE CONTACTING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY, TSUBO AND ANYONE ELSE I CAN THINK OF TO REPORT THESE SCAMMERS. THIS SEEMS ILLEGAL...I PLAN TO FIND OUT . IF THIS IS ILLEGAL, I WILL COME BACK WITH A POST AS TO HOW TO PROCEED WITH ACTION. I SUGGEST EVERYONE WITH A COMPLAINT HERE DOES THE SAME. THESE PEOPLE ARE THIEVES MANY TIMES OVER AND IT IS UP TO THE CONSUMER TO HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE. LETS GET THESE PEOPLE OFF-LINE.
THERE IS ONE POSITIVE REPORT FOR THIS COMPANY ON THIS SITE. OBVIOUSLY, IT IS THE COMPANY ITSELF WHO POSTED IT. DESPICABLE!

12/23/07 - Update: I spoke with Tsubo, this is NOT their fault and I want to make sure that their name doesn't get tarnished. ALSO, I just found out that someone I know got taken for a ride by this same company! This is no coincidence, this is crazy."
