Assumes a tip will be left
"We were given $50.00 gift cards instead of a Christmas bonus last year (yay) and I've had trouble using the last $9.93 on the card. After calling 4 times, I was finally able to speak with someone who told me that my card was declined because the amount was too close to the balance on my card. They assume that I will leave a tip and there wasn't enough money on the card to leave a tip. I was picking up food on my lunch break not sitting down to eat a meal. I was told by Elisa that I my total had to be around $8.00 in order to use the card with $9.93 on it. This place sounds like a rip off to me."
