"I thought I had ordered a Panasonic Plasma HDTV but was informed 5 days later that my purchase was not going to be fulfilled because they had depleted their stock of the item. Even though the order went through online (showed "in stock") and my credit card had been charged the full amount 2 days later without them having the item in stock or having shipped the item.
Ended up having to cancel the order because the TV model was being discontinued and they would not be able to order more.
Price with shipping and tax was a great deal but I don't know why they could not inform me earlier of the item being out of stock or why they charged my credit card when they didn't even have the item in stock. Refund is supposed to be going through but we'll see.
They offered me the same deal on a similar TV (Samsung), but not that great a deal since when I ordered the Panny the Samsung was actually $400 less and I was comparing both to decide which to order."
