"Purchasing from this store has to be my WORST online shopping experiance to date. Okay:
I purchased a Pentax Optio S5i Digital Camera for my sister as a wedding present on July 15, 2005. The wedding date was August 8th, 2005 and honeymoon shortly after. The couple needed a camera for their honeymoon and so I ordered the camera early (July 15th). First, BigOnDigital emails me on July 25th and tells me "DEAR VALUED CUSTOMER,
SORRY WE ARE HAVING A PROBLEM CONFIRMING YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS WITH YOUR AMEX CARD. THEY DO NOT HAVE THE FOLLOWING SHIPPING ADDRESS ON FILE:"
So, 10 days from purchase, and I get the first email telling me theres a problem (the camera SHOULD HAVE SHIPPED by now). So, I call my credit card company and verify the address AGAIN even though I did it after I placed the order on July 15th. Then, on July 29, I get another email: "Dear Valued Customer, Your order has been proccesed. For any further questions, please contact customer service at ***-***-****."
So, I figure the camera will ship within a day or two. The wedding comes and goes and STILL NO CAMERA WAS RECEIVED BY MY SISTER AND HER HUSBAND. So, I call on August 11th and explain the situation to the customer service reps. I talked to 4 reps and was told the camera was on BACKORDER (I never received an email telling me it was on backorder, if they wouldn't have messed around with the order then it would have shipped long time ago). I yell and yell at each of the reps and basically get nothing done. I refuse to hang up and finally speak to the Supervisor who puts me on HOLD telling me he is going to see what he can do. WHILE ON HOLD, I RECEIVE AN EMAIL TLELING ME "Dear Valued Customer, As per your request, your order has been cancelled. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at ***-***-****." HE TOLD ME HE WAS GOING TO SEE WHAT HE CAN DO FOR ME, BUT HE LIED AND INSTEAD WITHOUT TELLING ME CANCELLED MY ORDER! So after being on hold for a few mins another rep picks up the phone, and by this time, I had been talking to this company for 45 mins and was FUMING. I demand to talk to the manager or company owner and I am transferred to the Company Manager. I argue with him to give me an upgrade to the S5z for the same price since I have gone through hell. He refuses and tells me all he can do is lower the price and I cay pay the difference. After getting him to lower the price a little bit and throwing in a camera case, I finally agreed to pay the difference and upgrade to the s5z. He told me it would ship by August 15th latest. So, I call back on August 17th to check the shipping status AND THE CAMERA STILL HAD NOT SHIPPED. The rep told me there was some confusion in the order and he will ship it out right away TODAY (Aug17). Now, here I am writing this horrible review for a very horrible company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. EVEN IF THEY HAVE THE LOWEST PRICE, YOU WILL PAY FOR IT IN THE END. Order from another more reputible company and save time. This company is horrible as the other reviews state. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE!

UPDATE:
MY s5z WAS NOT SHIPPED WHEN THEY TOLD ME IT HAD BEEN SHIPPED. I WAITED FOR ONE WEEK AND STILL RECEIVED NO TRACKING NUMBER AS I WAS TOLD. I CALLED BACK AND THEY TOLD ME SINCE I WROTE A BAD REVIEW THEY CANCELLED MY ORDER. THATS RIGHT, CANCELLED MY ORDER BECAUSE I WROTE A BAD REVIEW. INSTEAD OF MAKING RIGHT BY SHIPPING OUT THE CAMERA I ORDERED, THEY DECIDED TO JUST FLAT OUT CANCEL THE ORDER! WHO CAN BE HAPPY WHEN THEY ORDERED A CAMERA ON JULY 15 AND STILL HADN'T RECEIVED A CAMERA AS OF AUGUST 24? THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST EVER DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. MAKE THEM PAY FOR THEIR HORRIBLE SERVICE. I HOPE THE BBB DOES SOMETHING ABOUT THEM.

ANOTHER UPDATE:
I finally got hold of the Company Manger, Jerry after 1 hour of being put on hold with noone picking up, then calling back and having the same thing happen. He told me he remembered speaking to me about my situation 2 weeks ago and does not know what happened to the order. He asked me when my credit card was billed and I gave him the date. He researched it in his system and said my order had been lost in his new $250,000 system. He said he understands why I am mad and told me he will ship out the camera at dealer cost, with free air shipping, lens kit, carrying case, and tripod. He told me he will personally follow up on this order as he should have 2 weeks ago and will box the camera himself. He tried to get me to retract my bad reviews with a memory card, however I could not justify it. He was more help than ANY of his employees. This resolution satisfies me however still angers me that I had to go through all this."
