Battery Replacement in HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-cd1055cl
"I ordered all the parts and tools from iFixit, and followed the iFixit guide written by Jacob Richardson Earl for a similar model. The parts and tools arrived promptly, the replacement went smoothly, and the entire process took about 10 minutes.
The only hiccup was that my particular HP model also required a Phillips #0 screwdriver for 3 of the screws (in addition to the Phillips #1 screwdriver that was recommended), which I happened to have. This minor issue was entirely an HP thing, and not a shortcoming of Jacob Richardson Earl's very detailed directions, but users should be aware of slight variations between very similar HP models.
This is my second experience with iFixit, and I highly recommend iFixit for their high-quality parts and tools, and for their incredibly useful repair guides."
