"This company is wonderful. I ordered from them once after being burned by two other companies for the same product. The product arrived exactly 2 days after ordering and was just as described. Since then I have ordered at least 4 more products that all arrive as expected, no defects. Every order so far I have received an email within 10 minutes verifying the order, and an email saying the item has shipped within 8 hours. I have dealt with customer services once for the product not arriving. It was the shippers fault for not bringing the item (the online tracking said "Item is with carrier" 3 times) The carrier would not refund my 2 day shipping charges and I called outpost and spoke with a rep and they refunded the shipping charges even though it wasn't their fault. They were very easy to deal with on the phone. I will definately be buying from this company again. I have found many disreputable sources (SonicParts and Compubuzz to name a couple) that run the normal e-business scam, but outpost is more than an average e-business. I have been in their store in Austin, Texas and was very pleased with the parts and prices there. When I found their website I was happy to use them again. Summary: Good company, will use again."

"This is the worst 2-bit company I have ever dealt with in 8 years of being a computer tech. I purchased a motherboard/processor from them on the 02/05, called back on 02/10 when the order was "still processing" after paying $7.00 for "rush order processing." After calling on the 10th, they said it should be shipped out the 11th. Now its the 12th and the order is STILL processing, after I was assured it would be shipped 6 days after the order (dont forget the extra money for "rush" processing) I have called in excess of 20 times and the number has been busy for the past 2 hours. This has to be the worst excuse of a company that I have ever dealt with. I would NOT recommend this supplier to ANYONE who is purchasing ANY equipment. If you want your supplies check somewhere else, this place needs to post a guarentee that you will not be satisfied. If you want to waste your time and money, try http://www.compubuzz.com, if not, shop around. UPDATE: It is now 02/25/04 and I have JUST NOW got an RMA number and an RMA "list of things to do" that is filled with surcharges and "if this" then we charge you $35.00. I read another recent review of this company and agree, they ship the same bad processors around and make money off the surcharges. Word of advice: SonicParts is the same company as Compubuzz, I received the same combo ordering from both companies, both found off of pricewatch and I chose them because of their competitive prices. Both have the same RMA addresses and the same tech people answering the phones. In fact, trying to RMA this product they told me to set the motherboard jumper to CLEAR CMOS and start up the PC. Any computer tech knows if this is done it will cause damage to the motherboard. This advice was given to me by there tech support. Don't use Compubuzz aka SonicParts if your money means anything to you."

"This is my 8th year as a computer tech and have never had this much problem with a vendor. I ordered a motherboard and CPU because of the price and on delivery (which was a few days late) i found the motherboard doesn't even power on. After 1 phone call they told me "Tech support does not have a phone number" so I asked for a superviser, 2 phone calls later still no answers. I am very displeased with this service and would never recommend anyone use sonicparts.com UPDATE: Found this company to be the same as Compubuzz, check their reviews as well. Every review I read about processor orders show the processors always being bad. All the good reviews are short and sound similar (written by their own employees?) Either way, SonicParts aka Compubuzz is a scam. They shuffle the same bad processors to different customers and make money off the surcharges they charge for RMA processing. Then they say if they test the part and it shows good they discretely charge your credit card $35.00. Who is in charge of testing? I have ordered one processor from them and one from compubuzz, both of which were bad. The RMA process took 2 weeks to finally get an RMA number."
