"Ordered an item they had on a good sale (shoes $20.00 cheaper than anywhere else has offered in the past year). About 4 days later they emailed saying "oops, it was out of stock - but here, you can buy our other stuff instead!"
This is a bait and switch tactic. It appears NONE of their customer's orders were shipped, yet the item still shows in stock, at the sale price, four days later!
Luckily, this is the internet and I can easily tell others to STAY AWAY!
update: 4 or 5 days after they cancelled my order due to "out of stock", the item was still listed on their website as in stock, at the sale price. I tried ordering again, and again they cancelled the order saying it was out of stock. I tried emailing them several times. They have a note to email any questions to them, but that email address does not work. I tried other email addresses on their website and never received any reply.
SUMMARY: No customer service at all, and bait and switch tactics to lure in customers with fake advertised sale prices.

"Small selection of products, but they had something I was interested in and couldn't find anywhere else. Sent a quick email that was answered quickly, the order was delivered quickly and was what I was looking for. Good enough for me!"
"Ordered an item which was offered at an advertised, discounted price. I ordered minutes after the sale started and the Staples site clearly showed in stock. I also added another item to the order that I otherwise would not have purchased. About 12 hours later, I received a notice that the main item in my order was "out of stock" and would be canceled. (Note that I checked and the item continued to be sold and shown as in stock on their site for at least 6 hours after my purchase).
I requested my order be completely canceled--the only reason I ordered was because of the advertised sale discount--however I was charged and the other item shipped out anyway. Now I have to go through the hassle to get a return authorization, ship back the other item, doublecheck I actually get a refund, etc.
This is a bait and switch tactic: offer a heavily discounted item, then cancel that but still charge for the normally priced items in the order. Many customers probably would not take the time or deal with the hassle of returning the other items in the order.
Customer support was not helpful at all. Now I am stuck returning this item and getting nothing for all my wasted time. I would be happy to revise this review if they would resolve this problem acceptably, but it does not seem that will happen."
