Forces customers to give phone numbers before they can earn discounts
"I need numerous things from Pet Smart but don't go there anymore. They offered a "rewards card" but only if I would give them my phone number. I refuse to give my phone number and asked if they would take my email, but no go. I know they sell customers phone numbers to other businesses. I've noticed other businesses doing the same thing: only giving rewards cards to customers who give out their phone numbers and then harvesting those numbers to sell to other companies! Stop it."
