"After searching on the internet & not finding this product at my local stores, I decided to order a Capresso Coffee Tec Coffee Machine from this company online. The site looked reasonable, was fairly easy to navigate and I assumed was up to date. I saw that the Capresso Coffee Tec Coffee Machine was listed as: Availability: In Stock!
I received an email confirmation the same day as I had ordered, 01/18/2007 stating this: "We thought you'd like to know that your order is currently being prepared for shipment." That was the last communication that I have received.
I waited for an email confirmation, as stated on their site, and repeatedly checked for the tracking number since I read in the FAQs that they required a signature. I wanted to be home to accept the package. There was never a tracking number posted on the site. I decided to call the toll free number.
I called twice, was placed on hold for unreasonably long times and was disconnected both times.
I wrote an email to their HELP Address as listed on the web site and still have yet to hear a reply. Mind you, to date, the coffeemaker is still listed as being in stock.
This afternoon (Jan. 30), I called again. After being on hold for 17 (seventeen) minutes as well as being told by a recorder repeatedly how important that my business was, I was connected to a service rep that apologized for my problems, stating that the company is short staffed. She offered to check the status of my order. I asked to stay on the line and not be lost on hold once again.
After a few minutes, she agreed that the site still listed my model availability IN STOCK. She checked further. Oops! It was on back order. Someone forgot to update the site!!!
I asked her to cancel my order. I WASTED a week and a half waiting for an answer. If there had been just one glitch in the system, I could understand the situation. But dealing with this company has been nothing but a DISSAPPOINTMENT!"
