"This site is very questionable. I placed my first order on 11/16/12, got an email order confirmation and PayPal confirmation. About an hour later I got an email telling me my order was cancelled, without any explanation. I checked my PayPal and it showed cancelled order as well. I phoned Tarakit and left a voicemail. Later that afternoon, I emailed them. I’ve heard nothing as of today (11/20/12) either by email or return call. On 11/19/12, I placed another order thinking that maybe they were out of stock on the item in the color I chose. My order went through, but at final checkout, it would not allow me to enter payment via credit card or PayPal. The order confirmation provided instructions on how to submit payment, not sure how because it listed a bank name, routing number, account number, etc. Again, I phoned and left a voice mail. I have heard nothing back. They list the bottom line absolute best price on the item I was looking for but that is looking like it’s a bait and switch to lure customers to their site. This is what they sent me for payment info: Bank name: WELLS FARGO BANK Bank address: 850 EAST GREENWAY PARKWAY, PHOENIX,AZ 85022 Beneficiary name: EVOX MANAGEMENT Beneficiary address: 13835 NORTH TATUM BOULEVARD, SUITE 9.213, PHOENIX AZ 85032 Account number: ***-***-**** ABA routing number: 122105278 SWIFT code: WFBIUS6S"

"I am shocked to see so many negative reviews on Shoebuy.com. I have been shopping at this site for over 6 years. I have never had any problems returning items. Although I do agree that the processing time has slowly increased over the last year or so because they used to be super fast. However, most of the issues here are dealing with the delivery company (UPS) not Shoebuy.com itself. I have never been charged a restocking fee and have always received a prompt refund on my returns, I’ve also never been charged for the items until they were shipped. I think Shoebuy.com is getting a raw deal with some of these reviews because of the shipping company. I highly recommend them. They are usually the cheapest site and the free return shipping is a bonus, although most other sites are now offering that as well. Also, keep in mind if you do find the same pair of shoes cheaper on another site, they will price match. I have done that a few of times as well. Once, they wouldn't do it because I was using a special coupon on the other site, so they said to just return the shoes and they would issue a full refund, which they did and then I bought the shoes on the other site."

"I bought two 'deals' from LS. I should have learned from the first time. This site is a rip-off!!!! They sell so many deals that the merchant is unable to meet the demand. The first deal ($30) I could never get through to the merchant for an appointment and they never returned my call. I called LS and they quickly gave me account credit for the $30. Knowing I had that credit and could not get a refund, I purchased another deal. Again, the merchant was very busy but scheduled the service for 2 weeks later. After he didn't show within that time period, I contacted him and he said he had 'issues with LS' and that he would not be able to get to us for another 2-3 weeks. This was 2 months after the purchase and completely unacceptable. When I contacted LS, Georgia was nice enough but said she could not do anything and would be submitting the request for refund to the consumer services department and they would get back to me within 1 business day. Three emails and 5 business days later, nothing. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the $65 ($95 less the $30 credit). They filed and contacted LS (telephone conference), some snotty guy ( I think James) said their policy is not to issue credit simply because the merchant is too busy. I explained that they had in the past and he flatly said they weren’t going to this time. My credit card company has issued credit for the $65 and hopefully I will eventually get the other $30 back. This site really does not care about customer satisfaction, its bad when even the merchants feel taken by LS. They just want the money and don’t care if the customer actually receives the service or product. I've used Groupon and Daily Deals with great success. Yes, I know what the refund policy is and I understand it but the company has to take some responsibility, its not OK to just sell a service and then say, sorry you cant get the service or product but its not our problem. Stay away from LS!!!"

"I wasn’t sure about this site, it seems to be a fairly new site. I couldn’t find many reviews and the few were mixed. I decided to try them anyway. The prices were about average with most reputable sites that I’m familiar with but they had a coupon code on their site that beat all the other sites. They also include a free pad. Not sure of the quality of the pad because it ships separately from the rug but it’s a bonus other sites didn’t offer. I ordered on Thursday, emailed for an update on Monday. They immediately sent me a tracking number and the Rug (beautiful) arrived on Wednesday. I had a very good experience."

"I was a little worried about ordering from this site because I couldn't find any reviews anywhere. I am very glad we decided to order from them. We got the tux we wanted and all accessories. We got a tux, tux shirt, vest, tie and handkerchief for less than half what we would have paid in a local store for just the tux. We bought at night on a saturday and got everything on the following Thursday. Great experience. We won't need it but they have a great return policy and only billed our card when the items shipped."

"Bought fridge on 29th, got a confirmation call 30th and it shipped on that same day. They had the best price. I even got to use a coupon and there was a manufacturer rebate on the fridge. Great experience. Update: Got the fridge delivered 7-6-10. Superfast shipping. Very happy with this experience."

"I had been researching a GE Dishwasher for some time. Homeeverything.com was consistently one of the lower priced sellers but not the lowest. I chose to purchase through them because I had previously purchased a cook top and double-oven with them. That purchase went very smooth. However the oven was damaged during shipping. We declined shipment and notified homeeverything.com. A new oven was shipped the following day with no other problems. So high ratings for that transaction. They had the dishwasher I wanted for $934.00, I found the dishwasher priced at $908.00 on another site so I emailed for a price match. The match was declined because that particular site was not an authorized dealer but Michael M offered to sell the dishwasher for $920 plus any other returning customer coupons I had. I emailed again with a different site that listed the dishwasher for $909.00. I didn’t get a reply right away but when I checked the site to confirm they were an authorized dealer, the dishwasher was on sale for $899.00. I telephoned Michael and explained that the last price match had changed and the price was now even lower. The dishwasher had gone on sale at homeverything.com as well. It was listed for $918.00. Michael M. stated he would not honor that price match because the site was not an authorized dealer. I directed him to the page on the site that clearly stated they were an authorized dealer. He then said the price was too low but that he would honor the $909 plus any return customer coupons I had. I told him I would have to think about it. Later I called back and spoke with Sal. After I explained to him the situation, he put me on hold (for what seemed to be forever), then said he would honor the $899.00. He took the order and said I would receive an invoice within the next few minutes. I waited an hour and emailed for status. I got no response. On May 17, 2010 I telephoned and requested the invoice. The person I spoke with at that time said they had my email address wrong. I got the invoice right away but after reviewing it, I noticed that the contact number was incorrect so I emailed them again and requested they correct it and add the sale to my online account so I could track it. Again I got no response. Unable to reach them by phone, I emailed again on May 19, 2010 expressing my dissatisfaction and frustration that I had no information and although my credit card was billed on May 14, 2010, the dishwasher had not been shipped. Again I got no response so I telephoned on May 24, 2010. I told them that the contact number on the invoice was incorrect. They told me the dishwasher had already shipped and that I would have to contact the shipper directly. They provided a tracking number and phone number for the shipper. The shipper said they did not have the dishwasher yet but took my contact information. I did not receive the dishwasher until May 28, 2010. A full 14 days after the dishwasher had been billed to my credit card. Its now been 19 days since I received the dishwasher and I have not received the $100 gift card (coupon code DINNER100) or information to obtain the gift card as I was promised. I telephoned on June 14, 2010 and was told the information would be given to the supervisor so that the email with the information could be sent to me. That was 2 days ago. To add to the frustration, I had to have the dishwasher serviced by GE the day after I received it, it is now working fine but just another point of frustration. Update: After leaving this review, I was contacted by Albert E who apologized for all the inconveniences that resulted from this last transaction. He sent me the information on how to obtain the gift certificate and requested I reconsider giving them another chance. He offered a satisfactory solution so in the end I am a satisfied customer and do plan to look to them for my future appliance purchases."

"I ordered an LG Blueray player. They had the best price by at least $25. It arrived fine but was defective. If I had known that I would be responsible for paying return shipping fees on a defective product I never would have bought from them. I had to contact LG and get a warranty claim started. LG provided a prepaid shipping label for the player. I will not be buying from sonicelectronix.com ever again. A company needs to stand by the products they sell. Amazon would have overnighted a replacement player and provided a prepaid shipping label. I learned my lesson though. Update: Sonic Electronix has offered me a $10 refund if I would edit my review. I won't change my review but wanted to add that the information contained in their reply is incorrect. Amazon.com is listing the same player for $229.54 (currently out of stock) (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036WT1RW/ref=pd_luc_mri?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER) with free shipping and IS sold by Amazon.com NOT Adorama. It was $234.99 at the time I made this purchase with Sonic. I have been an Amazon.com shopper for many years and when I have had a problem with a defective item, Amazon has always overnighted a replacement product as well as a prepaid return label. I have never had to pay to return a defective product whether it was sold by Amazon.com or a third party seller on Amazon.com. I do a LOT of shopping on the internet because I can usually find a better deal than I would if I bought locally. Especially when you consider the local sales tax varies from 8-11%. Additionally, I did read the return policy, which is why I went directly to the manufacturer when we realized the player was defective. I fully understand paying for return shipping costs if I simply change my mind or don't like the product but not when the item is defective. I try to stick to sites that will either provide a prepaid return label or will reimburse me for return shipping. This time I didn't read the return policy prior to ordering. I stand with my original statement that I will not be shopping at Sonicelectronix.com anymore."

"I have several warranties through Squaretrade. I have used two. The warranty on my laptop was handled quite well, although it was an agonizing ten calendar days without it. Everything went smooth and my laptop works great. The other was on my HP Slimline Desktop. That didn’t go as smooth. First, I was told a local tech would be contacting me to set up a time for an in-home repair. Five business days and a couple of ignored emails later, I called them. I was told they were unable to find a local tech and that I would have to find someone for the repair. It would have been nice to be notified of that. I took the desktop to Geeksquad (big mistake). They initially said it was a bad motherboard so I passed the info on to Squaretrade, I spoke with Shawn. At that time Squaretrade said they would begin the process to reimburse the purchase price and that I would be receiving an email within the hour. Several hours passed and no email so I telephoned again. I spoke with Patrick who informed me that I would need to get a detailed invoice to them before they could go any further with the claim (that’s not what Shawn had said). Not a problem, or so I thought. I contacted Geeksquad but they would not provide a detailed invoice unless I paid an $85 diagnostic fee. I decided to take the desktop elsewhere. The other repair shop, diagnosed for free, stated it was just a bad powersupply and replaced it. Shawn called me back to tell me that I would be getting the full purchase price of the desktop as I was picking up the repaired desktop. I told him Geeksquad had been wrong and that the desktop was fixed. I emailed a copy of the detailed repair invoice but heard nothing so I telephoned and asked to speak with Shawn. I spoke with Steve who said Shawn was busy but that the invoice had been received and the reimbursement would be issued. I waited until the following day and emailed Shawn because I had not received reimbursement. He replied rather quickly and provided all the info I was wanting. He also apologized for the initial delay in trying to find a local tech and said I would be getting a refund for the full purchase price of the warranty because they had not met their 5-day guarantee. But now I do have a concern because even though the Care Plan Details on their website clearly states: Get Better Products. The last thing you want when your item breaks down is a cheap refurbished item that is 2 generations old. If your item breaks and we can't fix it, we'll reimburse your full item purchase price. That's money you can use towards the latest and greatest., what I got from my conversation with Shawn is that if they had found my desktop for sale online at a lower price, I would have only received that amount, a clear contradiction of the statement above. If they are going to do that, then if they can find the desktop on sale at a higher price, they should reimburse me that amount. Fair is fair. Bottom line is I've had one really good experience and one satisfactory but now I am left with concerns and will think long and hard before purchasing another Squaretrade warranty."
