"Order placed no problems for 92" Mits HDTV, $2599.98. Did NOT push extra warranty, extra insurance, or extra accessories unlike Abes of Maine, TV Authority, and many other dealers. ONE CALL is FANTASTIC!!! Seller was very pleasant, honest, and helpful. Considering buying another one tomorrow if wife permits, though this time w. white glove delivery as TV is 250+ pounds! By the way, white glove from One Call is $100 but $150 from Abes of Maine. ONLY BUY FROM ONE CALL!!!!! Not at all asked to write this review by anybody. Just appreciative, telling friends, family, all."

"I ordered an 80" Sharp HDTV for $3949.18 from Abes of Maine. Fred convinced me that I needed to add another $149.99 for "white glove delivery" instead of the free delivery. He stated that the service included;
FALSE GUARANTEE BY ABES OF MAINE #1: Two man crew as the TV's size and weight was substantial.
TRUTH: One pleasant elderly gentleman showed up. I HAD PAID ALMOST $150 FOR A TWO MAN CREW!!!
FALSE GUARANTEE BY ABES OF MAINE#2: The two man crew would unload the HDTV from the truck.
TRUTH: My wife and I needed to assist the elderly pleasant gentleman as it was impossible for him to unload it by himself. I have been suffering from chronic back pain and the mandated work was painful. I HAD PAID ALMOST $150 TO AVOID THIS EVENT!!!
FALSE GUARANTEE BY ABES OF MAINE#3: The HDTV would be stabilized from bouncing and damage by resting on its own pallet on the truck.
TRUTH: The TV was transported bouncing in the back of a van. The TV appears undamaged, but this is not at all that which I was assured given the substantial extra cost burden.
TRUTH #4: I will insist that American Express not release the $149.99 for service not rendered.
TRUTH #5: I will not again order from Abes of Maine given the fraudulent effort by Abes of Maine.
RECOMMENDATION #1: Order from amazon instead of Abes of Maine as amazon sellers need to adhere to a higher quality of service or lose access to a huge customer base. I am now ordering a 92" HDTV via AmEx and amazon through One Call. I called One Call and they stated that the free shipping is paradoxically faster than "white glove" but white glove will include a 2 man crew for $100 extra, not the $149.99 of Abes of Maine.
RECOMMENDATION #2: Do not seek to save money by buying from Abes of Maine as they engage in fraud, necessitating communication with your credit card company, explaining the theft to reverse the unauthorized FRAUDULENT transaction.
RECOMMENDATION #3: Use American Express for your purchases, especially electronic equipment, as not only do they double the warranty but they support you when efforts are made by negligent companies such as Abes of Maine to defraud you for services not rendered."

"Horrible company! Bought five battery chargers at $14.24 each. One unit was dead on arrival in terms of one port completely physically and functionally not as described, not working. Contacted all-battery and they ignored initial emails. Finally they responded and stated they would send return. When they FAILED to do so, I emailed again, threatening blogging of their inferior service. They finally emailed RMA but insisted that I pay for refund shipping of the defective unit that they shipped. I emailed my displeasure and INFERIOR service and they continue to ignore me!!!! For me to return insured shipping of approximately $8 for a $14.24 item compelled me to keep the DEFECTIVE UNIT THEY SHIPPED, alert YOU to never buy from this INFERIOR company, and alert my credit card company as to the FRAUD as I paid for a defective unit and no decency of replacement was offered even under repeated protest. YOU ARE WARNED!!! Better to pay more from a respectable company!!!!"

"Used to be great company, but now offensive theft!!! Ordered well over $1000 from them over past few years. June 2009 ordered additional items. Laser flashlight had 2 dots so USELESS for use to give presentations / lectures. Shake flashlight emits nonfunctional light for just a few seconds despite advertisements of product utility. Battery junction sent worthless and broken products but REFUSED to pay for return shipping for either refund or exchange or credit for other products. Absolutely inflexible despite taking money and sending garbage. THIS IS THEFT!!! Will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! Have cautioned others to use www.flashlightz.com for same prices but honesty, customer service, and decency. Preparing web site to share throughout net. This company has gone way, way downhill!!!! Buy at your own risk!!!"
