"Overall, a pretty good experience. I ordered a leather case, a hotsync cable, and some stylus for my Sony Clie PDA. The shipping took a little over a week--a little longer than most other places that I have ordered from. But despite that, my order was recieved in an acceptable time. The stylus that I ordered were not correct for my PDA. I contacted SF Planet and the responded very quickly with the correct stylus. They sent the correct stylus and pre-paid shipping to return the incorrect stylus. I recieved the correct ones within 5 days. The customer service respond pleasantly and quickly. I would buy, and plan on doing so, again from SF Planet."

"I purchased a Canon A630 Wednesday morning (2/21/07). Within the HOUR is had a shipping confirmation number. (I chose the FedEx 2 day service for only $17.95.) My camera was at my door step Friday (2/23/07) at 1:30 pm--just a little over 48 hours from the time I placed my order. This has been one of my best online buying experinces! The camera itself was only $229--far less than any other reputable retailer, including the 2 day shipping! I would definitely buy from Beach Camera again. Very pleased and very satisfied with the service and product. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SITE!!!"

"I ordered a Canon Powershot A640 first thing Friday morning, February 16th. I really was not in a hurry to get this camera. I went to the Yellow Bee Photo web site to check the status of my order on Tuesday, February 20. My order status was status was still “being processed”, so my item hadn’t been shipped—although on their website it states that most orders ship within 24 hours. I called them to get a status on my order. First of all, I waited on hold for over half an hour (I knew this wasn’t good), then when I finally talked to some one they looked up my order, gave me a status that my order was still being processed, and told me that is all he could tell me, to call back the next day, because “Mikey” was the guy that could help me was out for the day and hung up on me. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I waited until Wednesday morning and checked the status of my order again—my camera still had not shipped. I called my credit card company and had them deny the charges and canceled my order with yellowbee. I found a web store, beachcamera.com, and ordered my camera from there. My purchased was processed, shipped, and I had a FedEx shipping confirmation number (which I could actually track through the FedEx web site) within an hour of my purchase! These guys are SHADY at best—DON’T BUY FROM HERE!"
