"I've only made the one order with sotrick, and I won't be making the same mistake twice. I just get the feeling you are really playing russian roulette with your money when you hand it over to these people, maybe you'll get lucky, or maybe it will disappear into the ether. I made an order, and paid with paypal, when the process was complete and I had sent them the money, their website said "security error" and wouldnt confirm my order had been received, so I emailed them and asked if they could double check everything went okay. No reply. waited a few days, then emailed again, No reply. I looked around the website and noticed a few suspicious things, such as "Verified by paypal" links pointing to pages that said "NOT VERIFIED". Fearing the worst, I emailed once more and politely pointed out the suspicious things I had noticed and said that I was worried I had been duped, and asked them if they would please reassure me everything was okay. The owner emailed back a one line reply, saying I was "way out of line", I responded asking again if my order was received and there was no response. I waited another 10 days, then emailed them saying If they could please check their records and issue me a refund, the owner replied saying the order had been shipped out and that I was trying to scam him out of the money...incredible. update: 3 months later, the parts never did show up."

"These guys rock, they certainly aren't the cheapest retailers around, but it's worth paying the extra for their customer service and specialised products. I've had to return an item due to a fault, and they really made the process as painless as possible. I even accidentally damaged part of a product I bought from them (entirely my fault), I emailed them, explained the situation, and asked if they had any spare parts they could sell me so that I wouldnt have to buy a whole new unit, they sent me a free replacement! I was so impressed. Overall a very professional, courteous and helpful retailer, I can't think of a bad thing to say about them."

"They don't like people cancelling, they will pull every excuse possible to take your money. They really let me down on my order as well, I ordered a camera and an accessory, they sent out the accessory and then kept me waiting for two weeks before telling me they dont have the camera....after I've already bought an accessory for it from them. Their prices are pretty good, so if you can put up with the non-existant customer service and poor reliability, you might save a few pounds...your call."

"Dabs.com is not bad, until somehting goes wrong. If you get a damaged item or need to return something, here's what to do: forget it. dabs has the worst customer service department of any shop ever. They will only let you communicate via email, and they dont read them..I think they keyword scan them and fire off stock replies, I'm not kidding, They never read past the first line."
