"On 3rd of June, 2008 I have purchased an ABIT AN8 32X motherboard from this company that was advertised as a *retail* package. I emphasize that the retail package was advertised. When I received the motherboard on the 10th of June it came in just a cardboard box with 1 IDE cable, 1 Floppy cable, 1 Serial header, 1 USB header, 1 SATA cable and a motherboard. No manual, no driver, no retail package, no I/O shield (backplate) and no SLI connector. (This is what a retail package should look like http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews/an8-32x/).
I called the company up and was told that the product is discontinued and that I have received a discontinued package sent as OEM. Fair enough, OEM works for me but this is not a complete OEM package. I enquired whether I can return the product and get my money back and was told NO. Then I asked can I at least get the backplate for the motherboard and was told that this is a discontinued product that shipped as OEM and that OEM packages do not come with backplates. At this point this is when everything went down the hill.
The sales representative was rude, refused to give me his *first* name, and I emphasize *first* name, hung up the phone on me, said that this is how OEM packages come and that I do not know what I am talking about. After I called back and a few threats to sue from the sales representative I was given his first name as Sean. I was told that the product has been ordered especially for me from Canada and that this is how ABIT provides OEM motherboards, but as a *favor* to me they will ship me out the backplate. I said thank you very much that we could resolve this issue, wished the representative a good day and hung up.
Two weeks later I did not get anything and I have contacted the company again, this time through their Live Chat support, the representative told me that they've sent it using USPS priority mail and that USPS must have lost it but they will set up a trace. I asked if I could have the tracking number for the package and was told that they did not send the backplate using certified mail but they *will* set up the trace. I called up USPS and was told that no trace is possible since they did not send the backplate with certified mail. I let the representative know what USPS have told me and the representative told me that I accuse them of lying, that I am harassing them and that I should not call them again.
At this point I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and set up a complaint with them. After the BBB complaint resolution the company promised BBB to send out the backplate. Two weeks later I still do not have the backplate. Also, the company did not change the advertising of the product and only on the second complaint from BBB operations manager did they remove the wording retail package from the ad for the AN8 32X motherboard on their website. At this point I have a motherboard that is no longer covered by the warranty (since it is a month from the purchase date), and a complaint with BBB that is marked as resolved and nothing more. For the record, BBB cannot do anything else and it was suggested to me to attempt to resolve this complaint using my credit card company.
Today, I have contacted ABIT USA and was told that what this company told me about ABIT OEM packages is a complete lie. ABIT ships OEM components with the required accessories such as backplates, SLI connectors, cables and whatever else is necessary. ABIT USA also told me that they do not have a reseller in Canada so ABIT did not sell this product to this company and the product that I have received is definitely not a retail or OEM package.
This review is already to long and I am omitting a lot of other problems that I got while dealing with this issue but to summarize this is the service *I* got from PC PLANET SYSTEMS. Horrible service, very rude sales representative (it appears that only one person works there), legal threats, false advertising, lies about the service/products paid for. Strangely enough I am not the first person that dealt with this sales rep Sean who has specially ordered products from Canada and got this service. There is a review about this company on this website describing exactly that.
In general I will never purchase anything from this company ever again. I would also advise anyone from doing business with this company unless with the high degree of certainty you want to get the same treatment as I did. Also, if you are interested look them up on Google Maps and see if you still want to do business with what appears to be this small home-based shop.

I have finally received my I/O backplate on 22nd of July after the operations manager at BBB managed to get it out of this company. Thank you BBB. The charge dispute for this motherboard has been canceled by my bank the day I have received the backplate.
As a side note, it is enough to look at the response left by the seller of this product to see what you can expect when doing business with this company."
