"I pushed for my manager to allow me to purchase 200 Stickers for hard hats that show an employee’s years without accidents. I thought the price was a little exorbitant at $238 but he went ahead and ok'd it. The descriptions said that the contents included die cut vinyl numbers. When the order arrived there were no numbers. I enquired and was told that they weren't included and you were supposed the use a marker to write the number of years on the stickers. I pointed out that the web site stated that the numbers were included. I was told that I was right and they would get with a manager and see what could be done. I received an email telling me again that the numbers were not included and that I could just write the numbers in. I called back and talked a different person and once again pointed out that the website clearly stated that the number were included. They went to the site and had to agree that was the case. They said they would get with a manager and take care of it. I received another email telling they were sorry but the web site was in error (it has now been changed) and that no numbers came with the order and I could send back the stickers and order a different sticker that had numbers with then and pay $456, or I could keep the ones I had and receive a 20% discount. I didn’t think that writing the numbers in with a marker would look very professional so I had to go back to my manager and get approval to order the same stickers with numbers at over twice the price."
