"I returned a pseudo-sheepskin bed pad to Allegro on July 1. Negotiating a return required 3 phone calls because customer "service" did not contact me when they received the return information from a third party.
Three weeks later, I still had not received a refund. Customer "service" said they needed to get still more paperwork from a third party to issue a refund, and would email me confirmation. I never received an email, even though he verified my contact info.
Ten days later, I called Allegro for the eighth time and was on hold for ten minutes. Only because of my repeated phone calls did they issue a refund, seven weeks after they received my (tracked) return shipment.
Evasive & dismissive customer service. Don't bother."
