Product listed online as Made in USA, box says made in China
"Looked up running boards for my 17 Equinox using AAG website drill down. Opened a link to "installation instructions" and noticed instructions did not include my vehicle year. Before ordering I called AAG customer service, Madelaine was very helpful, she contacted the manufacturer then e-mailed me back to confirm that they would indeed fit. Reading AAG website further under "About Manufacturer" it states "Unique among manufacturers, every element of Steelcraft's Research & Development, as well as Manufacturing, is based in the United States." That and free shipping sealed the deal. Product box arrived in 3 business days but with "Made in China" emblazoned on it, as if the box itself wasn't enough of a clue. Getting past my initial disappointment I was actually pleased with the product. Some of the fasteners were a little cheesy and time will tell about durability."
