"Recently rented a Nikkor 18-200VR lens from BorrowLenses.com.
Pleasing people to do business with. The online order was recieved promptly and the order confirmation came back to my email inbox fast. The lens arrived to my home in Pennsylvania (from their CA office) even quicker than I expected. Packaging was very robust with a bunch of foam padding around the lens.
The lens functioned well. I used the lens at a wedding shoot. The only problems were my own. Probably not a good idea to shoot with a lens for the first-time at an important event like a wedding. Lens worked fine - it was the VR that I was unaccustomed to using. All that being said, the lens performed well and quality shots were achieved.
I sent the lens back at the end of the rental period and recieved confirmation from BorrowLenses that my transaction was complete (nice touch).
I've rented from two other lens rental companies. BorrowGlass is at least equal and probably better than the others I've tried.
Their prices are reasonable but expect to spend a few bucks to rent anybody's high-value glass!
I will most definately use them again!"
