"I tried to use a promo code which I got by email ("WELCOME"), but the system told me that I have no permission. I wrote to support and they recommended me to try another one. It didn't work too. Than I wrote email to ****@**** twice and attached screenshots but got no response. After waiting for 2 weeks I had to buy domain for full price, because I had no time to wait.

“Please note you had place an order for a .VIDEO domain in the general availability phase, which does not begin until April. You had chosen to apply for a domain with an extension that is currently going through the initial launch phases. We only take payment for the domains as that is the only way we can submit the registration to the registry once the domain is eligible. Please submit a support ticket should you need any further information.”
