"I ordered my mother flowers and was being time sensitive to ensure the flowers got to my mom. They first told me the store it was at did not have carnations and then they called me the next day and told me the new store rejected the order. Then they told me it was my problem and the only thing they could do was a replacement order and God knows what that looked like and it was going to cost me more money. I told them to cancel and refund my money and they said they were not able to refund so I laughed and said "wanna bet" and I called my bank and filed a dispute and will be contacting the BBB. Buyers beware."

"They told me 5 days after I placed an order that there was a problem - on the day that they were supposed to be delivered for a birthday. Their "solution"? Pick someone (presumably at random) in a completely different country and send the flowers to them instead. When I pointed out that this did not exactly help give the birthday gift to my family member, I was refunded, sent a $20 coupon (yeah, like I'll be using that), and called by the wrong name by their "customer service" - which should be "customer insult" agent. Dreadful, dreaful company and service. Keep away!"
"My husband is stationed overseas and sent me flowers for valentine's days. They were supposed to be delivered on the 13th but never arrived due to weather which I understand. They were delivered on Monday the 15th and were FROZEN! I called to complain and was hung up on. I called again and spent over 30 minutes for a new delivery that was supposed to arrive today on the 17th. When I asked for a tracking number I got a 9 digit code that doesn't comply with FedEx tracking. When I asked if this was right because FedEx has 12 number tracking I was told "Madame that is the number you need" in a very condescending tone. After getting the run around I finally called the executive line and was told by Cynthia that they would be here by 8 pm today. By 9pm I called again and was told that they were delayed in Memphis due to weather. How hard is it to just say they're in Memphis and I'm not getting my flowers today?! Worst customer service I have ever had and I've worked retail for 10 years. I will be telling everyone to take their business elsewhere because this is ridiculous!"
"Used this company about a year ago and the flowers I ordered were two days late and bouquet was half the size it was supposed to be. I called the company, sent pictures, argued and never got a refund. Decided to give them another chance and ordered roses for my wife for Valentine’s Day. First off the cost is very deceiving. Started out at 39.00 for two dozen Roses. By the time I got done getting a basic vase from them, paid delivery fees, taxes, and other costs I’m up to 95.00! Next they were supposed to be delivered on Saturday February 13th. for Valentine’s Day, (“they don’t deliver on Sunday”). Didn’t end up getting them until 3 days later!!! Talked to someone from 1-800-flowers who didn’t seem to know much, and I believe was in India, or some foreign Country. Did not receive a refund, only a 20% discount on my next order which won’t be happening as I am done with this company! Buyer Beware!"
"Should be zero stars! I ordered a fruit bouquet on Friday the 12th to be delivered that day to my wife's work. It was never delivered and I've been on the phone with them each day since for hours just to get a damn refund. Each time I've been put on hold by the customer service rep for no reason for hours each day. And each day been told a supervisor would call me, which they have not. It's real **** simple to see the order was not delivered as per the order agreement. Just refund the damn thing, simple. But they don't want to because they are commiting fraud and it would bankrupt them. Not to mention they are not standing by their smile guarantee. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!"
"I ordered flowers for delivery for the day prior to Valentine’s Day. No flowers arrived so i called and was told they would contact the store. Still no flowers on Valentine’s Day no text status messages, no email status follow up .. nothing. I called to cancel the day after. They offered to send them out , I said pointless as too late, they offered a reduced price and coupons for future, again pointless they then offered even more reduced price and coupons. Really! I’m going to trust you with another order....When you make a mistake own it and fix it. I understand things happen but if I were them I would be “very” sorry and give flowers for free to make up for the issue. That would be true customer service. Realize I placed two orders this weekend alone so should value customers more. Never again! I’ll order directly from a local flower store next time. "

link they sent me via the email, I have ordered from them numerous times, this is the last. I called customer service for opportunity to make changes, she couldn't find my order. Really.... I called an hour after found my order and then told me I couldn't make any changes to my order. My order was set to deliver the following day, I am talking to the customer service rep. she states it is out for delivery now. Asked to speak to a supervisor, held on for over five minutes hearing a different language. Asked to get my membership number and she didn't seem to understand my question. They mute the call I held on for minutes then no response. I am telling my friends and colleagues about this horrible experience. Stay away.."

"I ordered flowers to be delivered to my grandma on her birthday. Due to covid I couldn’t see her this year on her birthday and I knew the flowers would make her day. They were never delivered on her birthday , I waited and still on the 5th they hadn’t been delivered so I called and explained my situation and was hung up on. I called again on the 6th and explained myself again only to be told they didn’t have the flowers I wanted in stock. But I was never notified that they weren’t in stock or going to be delivered, basically I paid 70$ to have my order sitting there. The lady I finally spoke to Janine was very nice and did everything she could to find me a replacement bouquet and accommodated me. 1800 flowers run your business better because this is the worst flower service I have used , and will never be using them again. I will also be telling friends and family to stay away from this business! "

"I ordered two bouquets of flowers for Mother's Day, one for my mom and one for my wife. Apparently, neither delivery driver rang the doorbell as my mom and wife were each home all day. My wife's flowers were fine. However, my mom's were dead by the time she retrieved them. These were left outside without water in the 105 deg. AZ heat.
I contacted customer service online the day after delivery and was supposed to receive an email reply, which as of this date I had not. I then called customer service and was given the option of receiving a call back, due to high volume. I left my phone number, but never received a call. The following day, I again called customer service and left my number. An hour later I received a call back. I explained the situation and was told that the best 1800Flowers.com could do was give me a 50% refund.
I find this unacceptable, especially in light of the policy written on the 1800Flowers.com website (under Frequently Asked Questions) that states:
"All of our flowers & gifts are backed by our 100% Smile Guarantee, which we're proud to stand behind. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, for any reason at all, we'll do whatever it takes to make it right. This includes offering a refund, redelivery or comparable exchange on your order. It's all part of our promise to provide you with an excellent customer experience every single time."
This is a false claim and should either be followed or retracted."
