"The arrangement that was delivered was COMPLETELY different than the one I ordered. Totally different flowers and MUCH smaller than the large arrangement that I paid for. I was shocked when my friend sent me the picture of the flowers. This company is a total scam. "
"This is the second time in a month I have ordered from them. I should have learned from the first order but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Same day delivery what a joke! I won’t make that mistake ever again. In both instances they sent me a confirmation email telling me the order had been delivered and in both instances it was not true. This last order they failed twice to deliver and when I tried to cancel the order after the failures they ignored my two emails(submitted through the customer service web site). Don’t even get me started on the hour long hold when I tried to call to resolve issue. Of course no one answered. Despite my request for cancellation they delivered the flowers today. Flowers were of poor quality. What should have been a fun Easter surprise for my family was an abysmal failure. Save yourself the disappointment and aggravation order your flowers from someone more reputable "
"I stopped using this company three years ago after they screwed up three arrangements in a row, one of them to my best friend who was going through chemotherapy. These fools have no business sense or customer service. My team from work sent me an Easter Lily for a housewarming/Easter gift. The delivery guy dropped it at my door without notifying me. I happened to find it lying upside down against my door when I went to get my mail. I could hear the glass rattling around in the box before I even opened it. I opened the box and there was a pile of broken glass which was the vase, a broken and torn Easter Lily which was broken in half and dirt all over the box. The stained glass cross that came with the plant was broken and bent. I trashed all of it. I have photos. I waited over an hour to speak to customer service. The young man PROMISED me a replacement plant. It's 5 PM and I have not received anything. I called customer service again, waited another 54 minutes, and was connected with a woman who had such a heavy accent, that I couldn't understand one word she spoke. She asked me if I could call back in 45 minutes. SERIOUSLY? No, I won't be calling back. I won't be ordering from this horrible company, and I will be telling everyone about my rotten experience with these scammers. There are too many excellent, small business florists who deliver stunning arrangements for a higher price. That's who I use now -- the local florists. You get what you pay for, and with 1-800-Flowers, you get nothing but broken and screwed up crap. Shame on you, Chris McCann. You can take your "smiles" and stick them in the broken arrangement you sent me. "

"Stay away. Ordered 3 days in advance. Flowers were never delivered to the funeral. Talked to them three times, all times they assured me the delivery will be on time. They did not deliver. They offered to deliver again after the funeral. I agreed, and they failed to deliver again. Waste of time and money and they will ruin your day. They hang up on me after I asked for a refund... "
"Disgusting company. They’re crooks. Initially refused to refund me for an order that was never delivered on Valentine’s Day. I also never even got an email with my order number or tracking information. When they did finally agree to refund me these **** gave me a PARTIAL refund and they did not refund the total amount on my credit card. They send a partial refund via PayPal. On the phone now trying to get the rest of my money back and will be sending them a lawyers letter and calling the better business bureau and my cc company to mark them as fraudulent. "I ordered a birthday cookie box for a relative who had been unwell. I paid extra so that it would arrive on her birthday. It didn’t arrive on her birthday. When I emailed them they gave some bogus excuse about the weather and the florist. It wasn’t even flowers it was cookies...! They then gave me some rubbish $20 voucher towards my next purchase. Why would I want to use their rubbish service again? I wasn’t even happy with it in the first place! There was no offer of a refund. Why did I pay more for delivery when it wasn’t even delivered on time? Such terrible customer service!! I will make sure everyone I know never uses this company. Instead of making my relative feel special on her birthday they made her feel like I had forgotten her. I am so bitterly disappointed with this rubbish American company! "
"Please be careful when ordering from this company. I paid $80 for a birthday cake floral arrangement to be delivered to my mother for her birthday. It arrived at 4:55 pm when the business closes at 5 pm. Also the arrangement looked NOTHING like the picture. It did not come on the cake stand and it also did not include the balloon, which I paid extra money for. This was a huge disappointment. They ordered replacement flowers without my permission and then said it was too late to cancel after I inquired why a replacement order was made without my consent. Do yourself a favor and find another company. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but this experience was so horrible that I had to warn others of the horrible customer service."
"The Valentine flowers I ordered to surprise my boyfriend were HORRIBLE. Looked like a five-year old put them together. The leaves were broken and brown, the vase too big, the flowers ugly. I complained immediately, sending a photo. They offered to send me new flowers which I DO NOT WANT. Valentine's is over, the surprise ruined and more flowers are not welcome. They insisted they could not stop the replacement delivery even though I told them immediately I did not want nor would accept more flowers from them. I wanted a full refund. Then they offered a $20 coupon for MORE FLOWERS, which I don't want (this after they signed me up without my knowledge for their PASS program which I also don't want. Still waiting for a refund for that after having to spend an hour on the phone with their incoherent customer service person). Now, after 20 emails back and forth, after saying they could not refund my money, they are offering a 50% refund. Too little too late 1800Flowers -- and I don't have either refund yet so I will believe it when I see it. "
"Ordered a dozen roses with shipping price was $100 flowers came clinging to life and did not improve. Called and complained and they send replacement flowers that's great other than the fact that it was the same situation I don't expect these flowers to open up since most of the peddles are wilting. They advertise that to flowers come straight from the grower and are cut the day that you order I don't think so. False advertising false advertising False advertising. You are better off going to local grocery store and paying fraction of price

"I ordered a gift for my wife for Valentine's day. I ordered it on time to meet meet that day's delivery requirements. I was promised delivery on Valentine's day. My wife and I sat around all afternoon and even until 11:45pm my order did not arrive. The terrible part of that is I got a text message and an email at 7:45pm stating that the order has been delivered. It was a lie. I called in and confronted that message and was apologized to and then told that the order was merely minutes away. That was also a lie.
1800 Flowers has ruined this special day for me. It hurts because I trusted the company. I will NEVER use 1800 Flowers again.
I called back at midnight and asked for a refund. I was told that one was given. I was told that I will see a confirmation in my email in 20 minutes. That's another lie. It's been over 7 hours and I still don't have an email confirming my refund.
I will be submitting these lies to the BBB. "
"DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I ordered a flower for Valentine’s Day on February 9th to surprise my wife. They supposed to delivery it today by 10 am and of course they couldn’t. I contacted customer service by text and they answered after 2 hours and told me that my flower will delivery on February 18th. Seriously February 18th. They already charge me $20 for delivery fee plus $5 for Valentine’s Day delivery. Nobody told me that my delivery date has been changed. Thank 1800 flowers ruining my day. "The flowers are delivered in a cardboard box with no vase nor water!!! As I unwrapped the roses all the leaves fell off in my hands and the rose pedals were falling off too. No telling how long they were out of water!! The picture of the arrangements don’t look anything like the flowers you will get!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you truly want a beautiful arrangement do yourself a favor and just call a local flower shop in your town and have them make you a beautiful arrangement! "
"This was one of the absolute worst experiences ever, not only was my first order not delivered when they said it was but the re-do order was said to be delivered the next day I didn’t get a confirmation email so called to confirm and they said no it wouldn’t be delivered for another 3 days. Mind you I paid for same day delivery. Their customer service was awful not once did they help me this was one of the WORST customer service/purchasing experiences I will never ever shop here again and I highly recommend whoever is reading this to do the same you won’t get what they charge you for!!"
"Dont waste your time or money. My "special occasion " has been rudely dismissed by my same day request, flower delivery. I'm going on day 4, yes, no typo, day FOUR and they STILL keep calling me up with BS attempts, bad address or delivery attempt too late for a business. Oh, did I mention the delivery is going to a HUGE federal building in Washington DC? Yeah, they couldn't find it."
