"Ordered 2 dozen assorted roses for my mother’s 85th birthday well in advance. Tracking had them on truck at 5:30 am. They were not delivered until 8:30 pm. She was in bed at this time. Waste of my time and disappointing that I could not surprise my mother. Totally unacceptable and a waste of $100.00. Purchase date April 27,2019 for delivery May 2, 2019"
"I orderd an arrangement that shows 24 roses in a red vase with a teddy bear and a box of chocolates. I paid almost $80 to have it delivered. No where on the site does it state that since it is a fed ex shipment that they do NOT arrange it and they do NOT hand deliver it. They just leave it on the door step. WHY is that acceptable? How is that even a remote possibility for delivery of FLOWERS and CHOCOLATE?!!! And when contacting there supposed customer service they state since I ordered it on line, it is delivered in a BOX .. a BOX .. flowers in a box. NOT the pictured beautiful arrangement. Oh, and I ordered it 5 days ago so there was no reason to ship it like that, none .. their reasoning? Since it was shipped by Fed Ex and that's what they do. They offered $20 off and than said would re deliver another order. I asked why I would want another box delivered when the whole idea was the presentation of the beautiful arrangement they show ONLINE!!!!"

Then your very rude customer service people wouldn't cancel the order because they wanted to deliver the next day. after I told them MULTIPLE TIMES the person wouldn't be there the next day, they had the audacity to tell me "late is better than never". Took multiple people and almost two hours to get them to give me a refund. "
"I was in a the beginning weeks of a new relationship. I paid extra to have the flowers delivered on Valentine’s Day to my new girlfriend’s office. The flowers were never delivered. I call customer service. OMG!!! I try not to be a mean person, but dumbest people ever. One guy tries to tell me that they don’t deliver to businesses. It states on their website and their automated message that business deliveries are between 9am-5pm. I demand a refund. The refund doesn’t get processed. I had to call four times and email twice. "Customer service at its worst! I ordered a sympathy flower arrangement for same day delivery. The order was made early in the morning before the florist shop was open. Within 15 minutes, I called to cancel, and they told me that the flowers were in transit, and that they could not cancel. At first I thought it was true. Then 2 hours later, I received an email notification that the order was just being prepared. I called to cancel, was placed on hold for a long time. I called again the third time, and was told I could not cancel. I asked to speak to a manager. I was placed on hold for awhile and then was told that the manager was too busy to take my call. They should have allowed the cancellation the first time I called, and avoid all this issue. "
"Our office ordered flowers for a funeral, we told them it needed to be there by 2 pm. We went to the funeral home, no flowers. They did not arrive until nearly 7pm! Speaking to their customer service was like banging our head on a brick wall. They kept offering to deliver them to the persons home. well, they live alone and they are dead now. They wouldn't give us a credit or anything because "they got delivered". yeah five hours late! They needed to be there by 2pm. Somehow they could not get this.

hard enough dealing with a loss, but to have them just blatantly refuse to give any compensation for a flower arrangement going to the funeral home when it should have, because it was eventually delivered is unacceptable.

I ordered flowers to be delivered on Valentine's Day and received confirmation from the company that my order would be delivered on Valentine's Day. THE ORDER WAS NEVER DELIVERED. I called their customer service line to see what happened to my order and what the company would do to make the situation right. The customer service representative told me that it was their busy season and they would deliver the flowers some other day. They offered no solution at all and put the blame entirely on Fed Ex. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they put me on hold and eventually hung up on me before putting me in touch with any supervisor. Clearly, the "100% Smile Guarantee" is a total lie and fabrication.

"Never use 1-800 Flowers ! I ordered a pretty bouquet arrangement before Valentines and they delivered a flowery mess that looked like a two-year-old created it. They had old flowers, broken flowers, no greenery and it look like a wilted mess. What an embarrassment. I hope this prevents another customer from buying from them. They lie to the customer, show a pic and then send a mess in a vase. When you call, the Rep from another country can only promise delivery after Valentines or a refund 7-10 business days from then. "Delivery was supposed to be made to my girlfriends office between noon to 6pm. I receive an email confirmation stating the flowers were delivered at 7:01 but her office was closed by then. i call 1800 Flowers the next day and was told the flowers were delivered, i explained to the phone rep they were not, the Rep puts me on hold comes back and tells me that the delivery person never made it. the phone rep then tells me we can have them delivered today at NO charge, as if this is supposed to make me happy, i tell her not acceptable, I should of just contacted my local Florist instead of purchasing through 1800 Flowers. They are ALWAYS a problem"
"Yesterday was my first experience with 1800Flowers... by today, I realized it would be my last. I ordered an arrangement for my boyfriend's family who has recently had a death in the family. I wanted the flowers to be orange, his mother's favorite color. I found an orange arrangement on their site and ordered it with next day delivery. I got a call this morning saying that the florist in the area did not have orange flowers but could do pink and white. I had my heart set on orange flowers so I asked if they could find another florist in the area. They put me on hold for 20 minutes and I had to hang up to go back to work. I called back 30 minutes later and spoke with someone else who put me on hold for 10 minutes and found another florist to do the orange arrangement. He told me that it wouldn't be delivered until tomorrow so I asked for a refund for the one-day delivery charge (as it wasn't delivered in one day). He said that from this florist which is farther away, it would still be an extra charge, but he told me he could refund me $2.99 ... FIne. I was annoyed, but thought the orange arrangement would be delivered tomorrow. I get yet another call back though, 45 minutes later, telling me that the new florist ALSO doesn't have orange flowers, but could do pink or white.

At this point, because I wanted orange flowers, I asked them to cancel my order. The representative was very quick then, to offer me a 50% refund if they could go ahead with the pink and white arrangement. I decided to give them one more chance and agreed to the 50% refund. I figured, even though they weren't the color I wanted for her, at least she would get flowers from me and know I was thinking of her.
But then I got ANOTHER call. Mind you, I'm at work, and need to step out into the hallway every time I get a call. I got up to answer the call, said "hello?" ... there was a pause and the person hung up! I called back and was on hold for 15 minutes! I had to get back to work so I hung up. Then 15 minutes later I get ANOTHER call... "Hello??" ... THEY HANG UP AGAIN. I call back and I'm on hold for another 10 minutes before hanging up and storming back to my office. Then I get two more calls from them and I don't pick up. Finally when I got home this evening I called back... waited 30 minutes on the phone for a manager! And canceled my order... but not before the manager AGAIN offered me a 50% refund for pink and white flowers. It came across as SO unprofessional and I have ZERO trust for this company. I felt like I was being scammed.
Why would they have floral arrangements online for people to purchase when they actually can't fulfill that order? To me it feels like they'll let you think you can get anything online and then after you order it, they'll call you to negotiate your order based on what they have available. It shouldn't work like that! I ordered an orange floral arrangement and I should have received it! I will never use this company again. I'm considering writing a letter to the CEO. "

could not do that until my husband calls since his name happens to be on the paypal account. It should not matter whose name since the flowers were never delivered - it should be an automatic refund."
"We ordered flowers for my daughters birthday and what she received was nothing like the picture seen on the website. We called 1-800-Flowers and they wanted to pick up the flowers that were delivered to my daughter and replace them afterwards. My daughter was not liking the idea of them coming just to pick up the original flowers and said no. 1-800-Flowers has no other resolution to offer. Won't be ordering from them ever again. Very disappointed."
