"I'll start by saying that this was an excellent deal and 1 Stop gave amazingly good service - but there were some anxious moments.

I ordered a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1 from 1 Stop Camera. They were priced 10% lower than anyone else on the internet. Usually, the lowest price means one of these bait-and-switch companies. I checked Reseller Ratings and 1 Stop had excellent ratings for the last 6 months, so I bit the bullet and ordered. I usualy order from Adorama, Canoga, B&H, etc.

Shortly after I placed my order on the net, I received the obligatory phone call from John, the salesman. He was very cordial and started his upsell with extra memory cards, then moved to the dreaded 30-minute battery spiel. I asked if this was indeed a new, fully USA warrantied camera with the normally supplied Panasonic DMW-BCF10PP battery. He assured me it was, so I said I was happy with supplied battery and continued to listen. He finished with the attempted sale of the extended warranty saying that the Panasonic labor warranty was only 90 days (not true). I told him I rarely kept a camera for 1-yr so an extended warranty was not necessary. To my surprise, he continued to be very cordial and said he would get my order right out. He did exactly that. I ordered on Tuesday afternoon. The camera shipped via free shipping and arrived on Thursday afternoon - almost as quick as going to the store to purchase it. I was very impressed!

I'm not impressed with the sales techniques employed, as a less informed buyer would probably have spent a great deal more money for questionable return. I'm also a little upset with Reseller Ratings as they show the other aliases of the company but have much different ratings for those aliases. I probably should have looked at all of 1 Stop's other names/reviews before I purchased, but did not, so I have to assume some blame. I assumed that all of the aliases had the same ratings - they did not!!! 1 Stop has a 9.33 rating for the past six-months (although they were busted 2.5 years ago for bogus reviews - posted by Reseller Ratings). Their other names - Photo Connection had a 6.7, Inoax - 2.71, The New Connection 3.75, etc. I became very concerned as the negative reviews for the other companies all had the battery story, etc., but fortunately 2 days later the camera arrived in perfect shape. So all's well that ends well."

"Super-Fantastic Experience from Start to Finish!!! On a 10 scale, I'd give this Co. a "10", (Boared-line "11"). I got a Great deal on a Wonderful Product, (46" Sony Bravia LCD). I could not be any Happier with the deal!!! :o) Great service from 1 STOP Camera prompt/ secure shipping and revceived EVERYTHING promised!!! "The service at 1StopCamera was fast, efficient and professional. A customer rep sent an e-mail asking me to confirm the order by phone and then he went over the invoice to make sure I had ordered the right product. He also reminded me that the A/C unit is 120V; ordering a unit with the wrong voltage is a common mistake made among customers. The item was then shipped immediately and I received it at the time UPS had posted on its tracking site.

My only criticism is that it was shipped UPS instead of by an LTL carrier. Every parcel I have ever received from UPS has shown signs of careless handling. The A/C unit obviously had been bumped by forklift trucks throughout its shipment. When I opened the box, I found that the corners of the plastic grill piece had been cracked on both sides. The plastic washers that attach the unit to the packing material had been shattered. There was not enough damage to warrant returning the unit, however, and the damage was hardly noticeable once the unit was installed. This is the third Freidrich A/C I have ordered - and the first from 1StopCamera. The others were shipped by LTL carrier. I did not expect that this would be shipped by an express carrier, and I would have paid an upcharge to have this shipped by anyone but UPS."
