"Overall my experience with 1st Choice was positive, with a few caveats. I purchased a motherboard/processor combo deal, and it arrived in working order, with the processor properly seated on the board, in a well-packed box. The listed price was a good bargain, though several optional items were added to my cart before checkout, and I wasn't able to remove them. The price I paid was somewhat higher than the advertised cost, but still lower than buying the parts separately. I hope in the future that 1st Choice modifies their system to allow for easier modification of orders.

The only other problem I encountered was that the packaging for the processor was not included in my shipment. 1st Choice provided the booklet that came with the processor, but apparently discarded the packaging after installing the chip. I would have liked to have the original packaging in case I ever wanted to upgrade, and perhaps ebay my old processor.

Aside from those two small issues 1st Choice delivered as promised. I received the product I ordered at a good price, and it was delivered in a timely manner."

"I was VERY impressed with 1st Choice Memory. Their website was very intuitive and their prices were consistently less than other "Build Your Own PC" sites and also came in consistently at the low price end of the PriceWatch spectrum.

The upgrades were also priced very well and to my surprise (when the unit arrived) were from name brand manufacturers (e.g. my video card upgrade was from EVGA - I have another computer which is almost completely built from EVGA parts -)

Assembling the few extra upgrades and peripherals was very easy and the computer booted successfully (with no O/S) the very 1st time.

I cannot comment on technical support BECAUSE I DIDN'T NEED ANY, which in itself is HIGH praise.

In conclusion, I would have to say that if this review was the standard multiple choice where I would choose a number from 1 - 5 for a series of questions, 1st Choice Memory would have gotten mostly 5's and maybe a couple of 4's (but possibly not).

The entire process from start to finish was was streamlined and professional and I would DEFINITELY order from 1st Choice Memory in the future.
