Amazon asked me to ship them back which I did according to their instructions, they then would not reimburse me the $35 the post office charged me. As if that is not bad enough they then sent me replacements which were supposed to be the right ones for America, but they were not. Amazon turned around and sent me European videos again the second time, after we had corresponded twice about the mix up and spoke on the phone once about why I sent them back. No I wasn't about to spend another $35 to send this batch back, but I won't buy anything again from Amazon.

"Purchasing the Samsung BD-J5900 Blu-Ray Player from 220-Electronics (rather than from any other vendor) was due to their adapting the Player to be all-regions compatible (they appear to be almost the only game in town for this type of modifications).
And they did a good job of this, as I finally can enjoy my full collection of Blu-Rays, irrespective of the Region (A / B / C) for which they were manufactured.
But this comes at a (quite steep!) price: while the BD-J5900 is usually available at sub- US$90.00, 220-Electronics charges over double that (US$189.00) for the same (with the all-region modification, of course).
Their shipping (unless you get it free in the continental US), via UPS, comes at a premium too, possibly adding over US$100.00 (!) to the deal on its own (and yes, there are cheaper means for getting the the Player reach you overseas ...)
On the bright side however the Player is great (thanks to Samsung, in this case), the change to make it "all-region" (by the people at 220-Electronics) appears to have been done cleanly and with quality materials (including the all-round US/Europe power supply), and delivery was real fast.
One more point to 220-Electronics' credit: despite my having ordered the BD-H5900 model, they auto-upgraded to the more current BD-J5900 one, to get me the most up-to-date experience (no additional charges involved).
Also, their tech-support is knowledgeable and has a lot of patience to answer all questions you may have in stock.
All-in-all, a good deal (possibly the only way to go around, unless you wish to have several Players, one for each Blu-Ray region ...), and after you start playing your collection, you kind of forget the amount you had to pay for this treat."
