Horrible customer service. Rude and disrespectful.

"I sent an email that I needed to cancel and order and I was asking them to call me because no one would answer the phone. I received a rude email back asking what I wanted and I explained that I needed to cancel then they kept saying there would be a 20% restocking fee for special order and I explained that I didn’t think my order was special order so should not have 20% restocking fee. KEEP IN MIND IT DIDNT SHIP YET. Next thing you know they send me a rude email and ask if I want to cancel or not. Of course I do that is why I had sent several emails. I said the same thing that yes I wanted to cancel. They decided to ship the order anyway. Disgusting rude and poor customer service. I was treated like a piece of crap. Wish I could post the emails. I will find somewhere to post them."

“There seems to be some confusion here - apparently this person is extremely upset because we shipped their order. Which is exactly what most people want when they place an order online. Not sure what all this other babble is about - if you want cancel an order, simply tell us that. 20% restocking / cancellation fee would apply to a special order OEM part cancelled or returned. Seems If we ship the order its wrong, if we don't ship the order its wrong. More importantly this person (and any other customer) can return most any item they order within 30 days, instead of wasting everyone's times with reviews, and PayPal disputes (which this person has also decided to do even though they got what they ordered).”

not very helpful

"I bought grips for my honda shadow. I was told by their rep that the grips would fit on my bike but didn't and when I returned the grips I ended up having to pay shipping cost to return item."

“Unfortunately we do not have any record of you talking to any of our reps. It looks like you requested a return on our website yourself through the automated return process. Your return comments said "...I CALLED KURYAKYN REP" (that's the manufacturer, not us) "AND HE TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED PART ....". You simply should just have contacted us, and told us there is an issue with information on our website, and we would have gladly provided you a prepaid return label so you didn't have to pay the return shipping. The manufacturer can help with info (we can as well), but they won't be able to provide you a return label. If our website lists incorrect fitment, or has incorrect information, we will gladly either replace the item or process the return at absolutely no cost to you. Problem is we have to be aware that there is an issue, to fix it. so in the future, just let us know. We could have easily sent you the correct part number for your bike.”

Good company

"We ordered a part and they had a hard time trying to receive it, but they worked with me and gave me a refund in a very quickly manner, and they respond to all of my emails the same day! SO I would say for the first time I have dealt with them, they are a good company and look forward to doing business with them again!"

Poor customer service

"I placed an order on line and cancelled a day later. Actually a good experience up to that point. Then I exchanged communication with customer service and was insulted and chastised thru several email exchanges. It was like no experience I have ever seen. Completely unacceptable and will never spend a dollar with this company. "

"I only ordered a mounting kit, not that rack since I already have the rack and only need the mounting kit. So after I took the time out of my day to order something, they went ahead and cancelled my order because I didn’t order what they thought I should have ordered. Thanks for wasting my time. F. "

“We contacted you both by email and by phone (left voicemail) but did not hear back. We simply wanted to confirm you wanted the mounting kit without the rack. Since we didn't hear back from you for 2 days, of course, yes, most definitely we cancelled your order. This is what we normally do if there is an issue and we cannot get a hold of the customer for 2 days. A lot of customers think we can read minds, but unfortunately our mind reading machine was broken. As we have told you after you did contact us, you can always place a new order. We wanted to thank you right back wasting our time :) Best of luck!”
