"Do Not Deal With Them!!! Getting a refund is impossible.

Old opening sentence:
Do not buy shoes that you have not worn before, so that you know the size is correct!!!

Very bad, very disappointing return policy. I bought two pair of shoes and when they arrived they were too large. I got an RMA and had to pay for the return myself. $10 to ship them back. They sent an email when they received the shoes. No emails after that but by 2/7 the status listed Return Completed. Here is the text:
Return Completed 6pm.com has fully processed the return and customer has been credited

I emailed them on 2/10 to see where the refund was, since It was not in my bank. They sent the following email quickly:

ear Rick Siegert,

Thank you for shopping with 6pm.com. We wanted to let you know
that we have received your return at our warehouse.

The following items were returned:

So the return was in process, not completed. But if it takes up to 7 days, then I should have it by the 17th not the 20th? If they really need the extra 3 days, then the company has problems.

At 9 pm on the 20th, The following email was sent:

So is it another 7 days? Did they loose my paperwork or what? If it worked, their return policy would be very bad. No company has had wait a week in years. If they are having cash flow problems as I suspect, then keep away from them!

2/23 - I just got another email from them saying that the refund was transferred on 2/10 and if I don't have it, its my bank's fault. I called my bank no sign of it. They can't even keep their own story straight!

I am disputing the original charge now since it looks like I will never get a refund. Do Not Deal With Them!!!

When I disputed the whole charge and it the money was put back into my account, the correct amount was immediately credited to me the next day. Two rebuttles of the company reply:

First of all, My bank processes refunds in two days. Proved over and over.

Secondly, they were one charge and refunded as one charge. No separate accounts.

I stand by my original statement.

BUT I am shocked that they are a part of eBags. I have nothing but praise for eBags, from their own lines to items I have bought from other manufacturers. Of course, bags and backpacks are less personally sized.

"I began searching for some riding boots online as my size 9 1/2 feet with muscular calves, rather than bean poles for legs, require I shop online for such an item. I have never shopped for a calf covering boot before and was nervous that the descriptions all stated the circumference only worked for the size 7 of any shoe, and would go up with a larger shoe size. I called the company to ask if there was any way they could measure the circumference on a larger size or give me an idea of how much larger the calf sizes get. I was assured if I ordered the boots that they should go up in enough inches to cover my muscular calves. I was also assured if there was any problem that exchanges were free if the boots did not work out.
Skip forward one week, a reasonable shipping time, I receive the boots. I open up both boxes, excited to finally have boots...only to find that they are no larger in circumference around on a size 9 1/2 than they were in a size 7. This clearly meant they would not work as I could not zip them up the last four inches or so. I proceeded to go online to find something else to exchange them with, in trust that what the employee told me was true, only to find out that each boot I found that would do the job I needed ended up "no longer in stock" minutes to a couple of hours after being placed in my cart. I was still willing to look again. However, before wasting any more time I called them to verify the exchange policy I was informed of as I can not find the information online. I am told that they will not cover return shipping for an exchange and I will be made to pay the shipping regardless if I want to switch for something else. Basically, I feel I was mislead at the least and blatantly lied to for a sale at the worst. I only ordered the boots due to what I was told regarding the circumference going up. I measured the circumference when it did not work, and they did not go up in size around in the least. They were exactly the same as the size 7's. This is not what I was led to understand would be the case. When I explained my frustration calmly to the lady on the other end, she just kept repeating I had to pay to return the boots. She also went so far as to tell me that the boots are not made for plus-size calves. My calves are not plus size and I feel the insinuation that I could not use the boots strictly due to being overweight, outrageous and extremely cold on the part of their company.
I hope that this review warns others, that despite this company being a sub-company of zappos, their customer service is thoughtless, misleading and horrid. No thanks to their misinformation, I had to fork out $19 to return &70 worth of shoes. I'm not even sure I would order from Zappos, knowing the customer service agents are the same, after this experience. Overall, I highly recommend you go elsewhere for your shoes if you must shop online. Shoebuy has always been a great service for me. I had no luck looking for this particular product on their site or I would have never found myself throwing money away on the poor customer service with zappos/6pm.

"Simple but to the point:

1. Ordered a pair of Pumas for $29.95 + $6.95 shipping. That's a very good price!
2. Received the item 6 days later via UPS. Everything's well-packaged; no complaints.

They're not a fraud site, in case anyone's wondering.

I do have the following problems with the site:

1. No exchange policy. If your shoes is too big or small, you have to return it and reorder. The shipping charge adds up.
2. Poor site design. Pretty hard to narrow down the choices.

"Found the only pair of shoes in the color and size I was looking for here. Price was also lower than anywhere else. Shipping was not free but was reasonable and quick. Item was exactly as described and I got the last one in that size and color. I am very satisfied."

"I ordered a couple of pairs of boots here that I like and are no longer in season. The price was outstanding. I was very pleased that even though I placed my order near the end of the business day last Friday, they still showed up Monday morning (this was a regular first class mail shipment too) Everything fit and was in order. I'm very pleased and would buy from them again."
